i'm still hoping for a minnesota/okc durant/westbrook/harden/love/rubio/williams rivalry to develop over the next decade.

i was 50/50 on this series going in, but i feel pretty confident about the thunder after seeing this game. the only reason it was close was because of a crazy jump-shooting start by miami. the thunder just look too fast. they were all over the place in the second half. the heat haven't seen a team like this yet.

even if it doesn't last, seeing him take the mound in a major league game would be amazing, and would be a giant accomplishment for him.

You think it's silly to wait an additional 10-11 days to get an extra full year of control? Yes. If Rizzo projects as expected, he'll be locked up long term regardless. We are the Cubs, not a small market team. Gotta love when someone is so stubborn that when given an obvious choice, a choice that would suggest they are wrong, they go with the illogical clearly wrong choice just so they don't have to admit that they are wrong. Again, it's just my opinion. I understand the other POV as well and this is what usually follows that kind of stubbornness. -

We're gong to have to eat the contract...and the sooner the better so others can come up and start our rebuild. The biggest mistake our new masterminds are making is hanging onto Sori trying 'to get something for him' Its retarding the progress of Brett Jackson, who needs to get on-the-job training at the MLB level. The money is gone...we cant get it back. Release Sori. Should have been done last winter. I'm one of the biggest B Jackson fans around and even I'm scared of what that 31% K rate will do in the majors. He doesn't NEED OJT in the majors, he needs to improve his contact skills in AAA. Like Castro and Campana and Cardenas... what's the difference? /.we're dead last ? On the job training for all.....cant be scared of them failing....we need to know what we have Seriously...why is he different from our other rookies..>? he literally just told you. brett jackson is striking out like adam dunn at iowa. calling him up right now would be idiotic.

spurs look gassed. hopefully okc closes this one out, because i think they have a better chance of beating the heat now.

that would be dumb. once he's physically healthy, extra rest will do nothing. why let him sit out when he's healthy? so he's even more removed from his last nba game when the 2014-2015 season starts? if we want derrick rose to truly be "back" the season after next, then it's important that he gets some games under his legs next season.
