he's right about the lead though. that opening week really fucked up their chance to build a lead over the brewers while they were going through their toughest part of the schedule. on paper we should pull away from that team but it hasn't happened over the last 2 seasons. but again i guess that's to be expected when we decided not to get better in the offseason.

12 of their 17 series are vs teams with winning records going in to the ASB and like 3 of the sub .500 team series are vs the Reds who are due for a bit of a bounce. most of this is because the pirates (-47 differential) are 21-19 right now

the nba is so dumb. what's even the point of watching the playoffs. best player in the world gets hurt and it means nothing.

man I'm so horsefeathering sick of this brewers trash. they're seriously ruining the enjoyment of baseball for me. I can accept the cardinals being good because they should be good, but its infuriating watching the brewers constantly play over their heads. it looked like their joke pitching was catching up to them, and then they reel off a 7 game winning streak. the cubs win seemingly every day and we're never more than a game or 2 ahead of them.

i'm not saying i'm impressed or anything, but i was pleasently surprised that he got more boos than cheers. i was fully prepared for like half the place to give him a standing o or some horsefeathers.
