  1. you don't
  2. every single cubs fan knows the brewers are finishing ahead of the cubs
  3. kimbrel might literally be the worst cub ever
  4. maybe javy should have opted out if a lack of fans is enough to completely erase him perhaps the saddest post in nsbb history
  5. I'm all in on anti-cubs Well the Cards are certainly a model franchise so hoping they win the division makes total sense. first things first. brewers will eventually do their thing and take care of the cards.
  6. LOL. I'm all in on anti-cubs
  7. perfection. the sooner they pass the cubs, the better.
  8. the lakers and clippers have "voted" to cancel the season, whatever that means. sounds like this season isn't going to finish.
  9. bull horsefeathers Don’t disagree. But these guys are really close, especially with Ross. I trust they can talk honestly and know each other and make a decision as a group. I wouldn’t have played personally. i don't doubt what heyward said. his teammates should have had his back regardless.
  10. leaving heyward out to dry is probably the last straw for me. i've said that a lot over the years, but i'm asking myself right now if i actually want this organization to do well, and i don't think the answer is yes. they deserve all the bad things that are coming to them.
  11. i wonder if theo even cares at this point or if he's completely checked out and ready to go
  12. blowing the division to a covid team is the perfect follow up to blowing the wild card to the brewers without yelich last year. the post-ws series cubs are all about finding new interesting ways to fail
  13. The Brewers suck, them handing the Reds some losses this week puts us in a spot to really widen the gap this weekend over the Reds and really not worry about them again. Lol Seriously you guys have been pushing this bs since 2017. And even if they are not as good as their record indicates, we look like total horsefeathers against their pitching (so chalk up several more Ws for them from that alone) and their pen locks down 1 run wins consistently. They are going to be a top 3 team in the division, not the Reds IMO. the cubs and brewers only play 3 more times. they were just helping yu win the cy young
  14. every decent team is making the playoffs and you don't even get a bye for winning the division. so if you're hopeful in the cubs chances at winning a "world series" this year, getting him back for the postseason is all that really matters.
  15. worth watching just to see the reaction from phelps
  16. watching yu darvish dominate is really something special
  17. i bet the ricketts love the fall of kris bryant
  18. their rd is over 10x higher than ours. fun times
  19. at this point i think i'd prefer a season where they outright suck instead of constantly tricking us into thinking they might still be good
  20. ptr is salivating at the thought of never having to extend anybody ever again
  21. I mean it didnt have anything to do with the brewers specifically, it was because we would get into fights in every game threads. people (like me) would complain about the games and he would overcompensate by developing the shtick. Then the cubs actually did lose and he said horsefeathers it and left. Idk why people are acting like this didnt happen. I believe his legit reasons for leaving but I think he also got sick of the back and forth of the complaining to complain and no real substance to back the complaints when he was giving real reason and stats. But whatever I think he’s largely gone for good for whatever reasons. everyone always agreed the cubs were better, it was never about that. it was about his unwillingness to admit they were vulnerable and that bad stuff could happen to them.

Then the cubs actually did lose and he said fucki it and left. Idk why people are acting like this didnt happen.
  23. treeman definitely did
  24. I guess you dont remember the game threads from 2018 not being a completely insane spaz about individual baseball games isn't a gimmick i admit I'm a game thread spaz but that wasnt it at all. imb isnt a game thread spaz but he probably remembers what I'm talking about. I just think its funny to suggest that he left because of morals when that's not at all what happened. he quit after 2018 because he dug into his "cubs are gods and the brewers cant possibly beat us" shtick too hard and then didnt want to deal with it after they lost. like I fully admit my part and being a child, but he left because he was mad about the brewers stuff, it was obvious. It's not even neccesarily an insult, he had plenty of reason to be annoyed.
