  1. I agree; for too long have people been able to spout all sorts of idiocy with impunity
  2. Wrong thread? Came at the same time as the Andrew Bynum cheap shot. You are correct
  3. What had they done two minutes before that? I turned it on just in time for Bynum to almost kill somebody
  4. Just call him a dumb [expletive], Dew. You know you want to.
  5. If you tell me the inning, situation, etc and what you were wearing, I can look it up. Bottom of the 7th, Colvin at bat, foul to the front of the upper deck on slight third base side. Section 417. I was wearing a black North Face jacket with no hat on. Thanks in advance!
  6. Anyone know where I can get a recording of that game? I caught a Colvin foul ball in the upper deck and never spilled my beer. Perhaps you saw me?
  7. God, I'm gonna miss this whole fuckin game, aren't I?
  8. Clearly, you need to go to more games. I'm going again tomorrow, to stop the bleeding
  9. Wow, this one hurts a little bit. First of the year, really
  10. What a garbage call. Gameday has that 8 in off the plate.
  11. I wish for him to fail unequivocally why? Maybe he doesn't want endless updates when Guyer starts 8 for 20. That, and I'm petty
  12. Bases loaded, no outs in consecutive innings and we get one run total
  13. I wish for him to fail unequivocally
  14. It's probably because he has a cool Hawaiian name. Or that he got on base like 80% of the time in the minors
  15. Well, there's no shame in not being as good an ISO player as DWade. Lebron's fine in isolation, end game struggles this year be damned. Yup, I edited it a bit. And I KNEW there was a more concise way of saying that.
  16. It depends what "creating their own shot" means. If it means that you can get the ball when you're not open, dribble around someone, and then make a shot, then Deng can create his own shot. If it means that you can give someone the ball in isolation and ask them to score a critical basket at the end of a game, then no. But there are just a handful of guys in the entire league that can reliably do the latter. Some might even argue that LeBron isn't one of them. It's somewhere between the two of those extremes. I think the general opinion is that Deng can't really create his own shot with any consistency because he's a (relatively) weak ballhandler. I would agree that Lebron would not be the best "give-me-the-ball-in-isolation" guy on his own team, much less in the top few in the league.
