    Yeah he should, but for some reason he is way more valuable as a hitter when he leads off. His career numbers show this. I don't know why, but they do. That's the rub.. I think most of us think Sori is best suited lower in the order, but his career numbers defy that logic... FWIW, I think Lou should put in the 5 hole until Sori finally just accpets it....kinda like when Frank Robinson made him play LF...

    Yeah, I'm putting this one on Vance. Both the Texas and the Houston series were absolute failures. Don't forget the Florida series. Vance has been there for possibly the worst three series of the season. Man.... that's downright fugly !!     Gotta be Cedeno Not if they want a backup SS on the roster. Patterson is the most redundent. They have 4 others capable of playing 2B and many others capable of playing LF. Does EPatt play Short? Also you forgot about DeRo, he plays short and I doubt you need more than one backup. DeRosa is not really a shortstop. I said he could play short. Well, you said "he plays short", not "could play". Sure, he could play in an emergency. But my guess is they'd prefer a legit backup SS. That makes sense, thus you're probably wrong..

    Good thing we started his arby clock for about 10 at bats... Although we could put Ramirez on the DL to activate Ward (that would suck) My lifelong Cubs fandom leads me to assume that is the case :cry:

    He's a heck of a nice guy. Pretty much what I was going to say. He's got some good leadership ability from what I've heard, but uh.... that's it. Yeah, I wish he wasn't such a stand up guy.. I could easily hate him then. His being nice makes it a bit difficult, at least for me. We don't really have a legitamate reason to hate anyone on the team. True... "Hate" is a tad strong...
