I'm not exactly clamoring for a Wells for Bell trade, but I wouldn't be overly upset if it happened either. I understand what Wells' probable ceiling is, & the reality is that he wouldn't fetch us a "good" bat in return, this year at least due to his likely value around the league. I just have a fundamental issue with trading a "decent" starting pitcher (which seems to be the consensus regarding Wells' ceiling) for a "good" relief pitcher. I see arguments all the time how SP is so much more important than bullpen arms....and I agree with those arguments. And if we can wait 8 weeks for ARam to come back, we sure as hell can wait several more days for Guz to come back as well.
