    Play sports much in your lifetime? sometimes Testosterone + Nerves + Embarrassment + Hugely important situation = violent outburst yeah, it's called choking under pressure. lilly, like most of the rest of the team, wasn't able to handle the pressure, and his little baby fit made that perfectly clear. it was pathetic and embarrassing. Very much so... I guess I just don't understand how it was either. Who cares? He was pissed and threw his glove. So what.

    Roast, I know you're new to the city so let me give you a quick tip: The Redeye is probably one of the worst publications out there. They spend 40% of their space on celebrities and their sports sections blow. In short, don't bother reading it.

    Sucks that these games are on TBS (for obvious HD reasons). Do we know when they are going to announce the time of the game?

    You might check the listings for your cable company on tvguide.com or your onscreen program guide (if you have one). If not you may just need to turn on the game and see what one it is.     I was extremely pleased to come home from celebrating last night to find I had the Big Ten Network (in HD). RCN Cable finally agreed. My question is, how do I figure out what game I get? Aren't there a handful of Big Ten games on at 11:00?

    You are a wuss. Not going to Wrigleyville. Not punching Dane Cook clone. I'm disappointed in you. If I were in Chicago, I'd be in Wrigleyville getting HAMMERED. All my good friends went to Cincy (I had to move offices at work). So now I have to go out with my 2nd/3rd tier friends to celebrate...kinda sucks, but still great at the same time.

    whoa whoa whoa whoa WTF with the out-counting?! What's wrong with out counting? Seis mas! I dunno, but whenever I hear "6 outs left", I get a little nauseated. It brings back bad memories. Well, just imagine how you'll feel when you hear "5 outs left" then.

    I too have to go all the way to Skokie (for a single ticket that I probably won't even use nonetheless). I called FedEx yesterday to try to get the signature waived, yeah...that was a waste of time. What a dumb process. You picked up a single and you're not gonna use it?? I have the nights/weekends package so I think Game 1 (3) is the one I get anyway. Might as well sell the single. If I could have gotten a pair in better seats than mine I would have used them.

    What bars you like for Cubs games? Everywhere except the Cubbie Bear, High Tops and Sluggers Yeah, Cubbie Bear is probably my least favorite.

    Huh? What I'm saying is that we will miss the playoffs, and that Jacque Jones is singlehandedly nearly killing my joy in watching the cubs. Love the sweep to a 60 win team today. Lou is a horrid horrid manager, and he really showed it this week. Because we all know Jacque Jones is the lone reason we're playing like crap lately. Nice, I like how you read what I said and assumed I had a completely different objective. That's how arguments work, right? Of course JJ is not the only reason we are playing like crap. He is, however, a bad hitter (.275/.328/.386 on the season, buddy) having a worse year, and I have disliked his presence from day one. Thanks for playing. Your posts make no sense.

    Unless they're camping out for today's game (the last home game of the season) then correct, they're out of luck. That would be dedication.
