  1. Not! The Chicago Cubs are in CT and so am I. Please, Pacific Time rules all.
  2. No fair, you read the post  And for those who don't know what this is about and are seriously over-reacting, you might want to check out this post and the one below it. =D>
  3. So I'm guessing you're taking the "no matter what he does, he'll do better than my prediction" point of view. I like it.
  4. I'll do you one better. Derek Jeter's regular season career batting: .317/.388/.463/.851 Derek Jeter's postseason career batting:.314/.384/.479/.863
  5. They may not draw a ton of walks, but they aren't swinging at the first pitch every at bat either. Sheets threw 100 pitches by the time he left in the 6th. That's a big difference from last year when every pitcher was "Cy-fill-in-the-blank". Especially considering he only threw 104 pitches in his CG against the Dodgers on Opening Day.
  6. I dunno. I picked the Cubs to win 74 games last year, which was the most pessimistic of anybody. Was that trolling? I don't think so. I would call it being opinionated (not that it's a bad thing at all). There are going to be people who are optimistic and those who are pessimistic. That doesn't mean you don't have a good reason for thinking either way and I wouldn't consider that trolling at all. I think we all have at some point (Neifi, Macias, Glendon, etc.). :D
  7. Argentinian soccer players, but it applies to Ginobili. Batistuta     Diego Simeone acted like a sniper put a bullet in his back when Beckham nudged him in 1998. But no one dives like an Italian soccer player. I knew the soccer fans would get the joke.
  8. That was stellar. Is it 2010 yet? Here's another one. Meh on the music choices but the video is good. They do show a couple of Mexico goals but most of it is US centered. WARNING: Music not work safe. Someday we're going to beat Mexico in Mexico City and it will be glorious. The amount of hatred I have for their soccer team is unbelievable. Related to the US national team, does anybody know where I can find full videos of some of their 2002 World Cup games - well, just the Portugal and Mexico matches?
  9. Oh yeah. Man U is up 3 points on Chelsea with 6 league games to go - one of which is a matchup between the two at Stamford Bridge in each team's second to last game of the year. Man U has: Sheff Utd (18th), Middlesbrough (12th), at Everton (6th), at Man City (14th), West Ham (19th) Chelsea has: at West Ham (19th), at Newcastle (10th), Bolton (5th), at Arsenal (4th), Everton (6th). Based on this, I have to think that Man U has the advantage. The Chelsea at Arsenal is just 3 days before the Chelsea-Man U match and is going to be good. Arsenal is currently in 4th place and only 2 points ahead of Bolton for that. And 4th/5th is the difference between Champions League and the UEFA Cup. It's going to be good coming down the stretch here.
  10. I almost forgot, GO CUBS!! Good to have won the series but let's get the sweep tomorrow.
  11. I think he was here opening day-he made a mistake he said and was scheduled to be on the road during the first week. That he is. He was in Sacramento the other day.
  12. Now if he blows it you get the blame like texascub did yesterday.
