    I've always enjoyed Get Fuzzy and this one is no exception.

    This means either one of two things will happen: 1. The Cubs offense doesn't jump all over the Padres and the Cubs lose. 2. The Cubs offense does jump all over the Padres but Marquis has a horrible performance to blow the good show by the offense and the Cubs lose. Pick your poison.

    And his start against Houston was nothing to be ashamed of either (6 IP, 3 ER). It wasn't great but it was good enough that it should have gotten the job done. I've been more than pleased with Lilly so far this year.

    I'm sorry, but I can't stand the Lakers. I do have a liking for the Clips and Warriors though. Golden State is looking pretty good right now, but the Clippers blew a golden opportunity today. Now they have to hope for the Lakers to lose to Seattle. I'm the same, I want the Clips and Warriors (yay Baron Davis and Matt Barnes) to make it. Kobe dropped 50 on Seattle on 18-25 shooting to secure a playoff spot for the Lakers thanks to the Clippers loss. Even before today the Lakers looked good because if all three teams finished with the same record, the Lakers held the tiebreaker. The Clippers do hold the tiebreaker over the Warriors for the final spot but they'll need GS to slip up here. I'm pulling for the Warriors because a Dallas-GS first round matchup would be pretty interesting.

    In the race for the final two playoff spots in the West, the Clippers have flinched. They lost at home to the Kings today. They are now a game behind the Lakers and Warriors with two games to play for each team. The Lakers host Seattle tonight and go to Sacramento on Wednesday; the Warriors host Dallas on Tuesday and play at Portland on Wednesday; the Clippers play at Phoenix on Tuesday and host New Orleans on Wednesday.

    Weathers can't throw strikes. He must be remembering his time as a Cub.

    If he sent Soriano there and he was thrown out at home would you be saying that testing Freel's arm was the smart thing to do? I doubt that. You would likely be saying how horrible of an idea it was to make the first out of the inning at home plate with the Cubs down 1 and the heart of the order coming up. It was the right move to hold Soriano there. Most times, the Cubs 3-4-5 hitters are going to at least get that one run home in that situation.

    You could also hope that the guys who are doing it (Lee and Floyd are the two I've noticed) have big days. With how superstitious baseball players are, they may keep their socks like that.

    Chelsea and Man U both won their FA Cup semifinals so they will meet in the final May 19. The two teams will also play, likely for the Premier League title, on May 9 and could meet in the Champions League final on May 23.

    They had a guitarist at the Kings-Mavericks game a few days ago. He was supposedly a professional but he was horrible. The other few reporters around me were making fun of him also.
