  1. Even if you take out the numbers for tonight, the Cubs are still tied with the Brewers for the best run differential in the NL Central.
  2. Under. Over. EDIT: I'm changing this because I didn't read that the wind is blowing out. First to 15 wins.
  3. I'm going to guess that's excluding pitchers.
  4. Sharks tie it up at 1 midway through the 2nd period.
  5. Yeah. We can't forget his great 2005 and decent 2006. He has only pitched 3 innings on the year so we'll see. The more important concern is the fifth starter situation.
  6. If Miller goes to the pen, then Guzman would be the 5th starter presumably, so that doesn't really help. :!: Oh yeah, you're right. I guess I'm trying to say swap Miller and Guzman, drop Ohman and call up Cherry. Considering Miller has said he doesn't want to go to the pen, the Cubs might DFA Miller, make Guzman the #5 starter, and bring up a reliever from AAA. That doesn't help with the Ohman situation though. Yeah, I realize that. I was just stating that his suggestion was unlikely because of Miller's statements about not wanting to go to the pen. I don't really have a problem with Ohman in the pen right now. He's working himself into a role where he only pitches in blowouts. EDIT: Removed a statement.
  7. This thread was obviously the reason for the HR's today.
  8. Better be careful when you're typing 'this' backwards. Remember, this is a family board and we wouldn't want to have to ban you. :D

  10. What would the problem be with keeping Dunn? He plays LF.
  11. It's okay, I'd rather have him get all of his sucking out now. If he gives up five runs, who cares. Thats a lot of sucking to get out....I don't know if one outing can contain it. Well, he did have 11 runs to work with.
  12. The way Jeter's season is going, he would have botched that grounder.

  14. going to the kitchen to take a dump. It sorta has some of the same stuff, but you'll just end up with crap all over the place. :lmao:
  15. Crap. Nashville scored first though it was a nice goal. Not the start the Sharks wanted at home and unsurprisingly, the crowd is dead right now.
  16. The game against Maddux tomorrow should be interesting.
  17. I didn't hear it either so I would like to know as well.
  18. Guzman fans the side. Miller has to be nervous right now.
  19. ..and you find this amusing why, exactly? Because Len and Bob reported he's day to day.
  20. Yeah.. But it has a small URL so I can fit all my sig in. Imageshack has a longer url. Anyone have the same problem? Works fine for me.
  21. Ouch. Islanders just picked up a penalty with 1:34 left in the game and they're down 3-2. That's gonna hurt. Sharks-Predators about to start.
  22. Hmm...I thought I watched the whole inning but I guess I must have missed half the runs.
