    Sweet, the game is on CSN so I'll actually get to watch a Saturday game. That is, if I actually manage to get up in time.

    :shock: at the final score of the Yankees-Mariners game. EDIT: BTW, ARod hasn't hit a HR since April 23 and got his first RBI's since April 23 in today's game.

    This is true, but it's also true that the Brewers are on pace to finish 29 games ahead of the Cubs. :shock: :shock: And they're on pace for 106 wins.

    And just like the Sharks a couple days ago, the NY Rangers allow the game tying goal when the other team has pulled their goalie then fall in overtime. Buffalo scored with about 7 seconds left to tie the game and then 4:39 into overtime.

    Also banned on inbound flights (those returning to STL). AM590 is saying some players are already complaining about these new policies. Whatever. Here's hoping the Cards keep losing. Aw, poor Cardinals. I feel so bad for them that they can't drink on the plane rides home. :-({|=

    At this point I would prefer to keep Jones in CF and have Pie get sent back to AAA. Either that or Murton needs to go to AAA because there's no reason to have both of them sitting on the bench as much or more than their playing. At least at AAA one of them (preferably Pie because he's younger) would play all the time.

    The Cubs should be over .500 by the end of the series. That being said, I'm preparing for them to lose 2 of 3.

    Even if his final ERA is double what it is now (2.09) I would be more than happy with that considering it would be a drop of nearly two ER/9 from last year and much better than most of us could have expected.

    Only jerks think about themselves. What a selfish jerk. I think this is when Sammy Sosa says, "Who's Josh Towers?" How dare anyone criticize the mighty Sammy. For some reason (well, a few of them) I don't really think it's right for Josh Towers to talk down about Sammy. You know that Josh Towers right? The guy who has a career ERA of 4.90 (ERA+ of 92) and a .300 BAA. I'm not sure why a crappy pitcher is taking shots and somebody who he incorrectly perceives to be crappy.
