  1. The ump has seemed fine to me. I haven't looked at every call but the 4 or 5 borderline ball calls I checked on Gameday were all correct. Ump isn't expanding his zone and Lester's spotting a couple inches off the plate.
  2. His ERA going into his last start with SD was 3.06. It's now 6.04. He allowed 23 runs in his first 10 starts and 30 in his last 4.
  3. As long as he can throw a baseball, he's better than Richard so adding him to the 25-man by then should be no problem.
  4. ive noticed he's OKAY if nobody is on base I think it was the first out last inning but he said Dex was camped under the ball but then said it was a nice running catch.
  5. I'm honestly not sure he ever made contact with the guy's face. I thought he caught him, but it was very light. Still it was stupid to even do that, just don't put yourself in that position especially when you know your opponent is going down to 10 men. It wasn't much but he definitely caught him. If the ref sees you swing your hand at a guy and thinks you just smacked him in the face, you're going to get sent off.
  6. Yeah, that was terrible. Loved how Landon said the Ecuador dude was lucky not to get a yellow also. I know he's not going to call out his former teammate but what he said was a bit ridiculous.
  7. Assuming their pitching doesn't get fixed, I'd throw LA in the group I wouldn't mind facing since they'd only be able to throw Kershaw once.
  8. [bbvideo=560,315] [/bbvideo]
  9. Silly pricing ($100+ face to get in the stadium) + less than a week's notice + weeknight The price was definitely what stopped me from going to the opener in SF.
  10. Not to mention that we've still have 10 home games against them and only 3 more in St. Louis.
  11. You shoot Richard into the sun.
  12. Cubs made us sweat it out but pulled out the victory. They'll go for the series win against Strasburg, who has been excellent this year, but not as dominant as his perfect 10-0 record. That, and the Nats' 12-1 record in his starts, is also due to their offense putting up 6.85 runs per game in his starts. He's not going to be perfect all year, this is as good of a game as any to hand Strasburg his first loss.
  13. Plus off day on Thursday if Rondon is needed tomorrow.
  14. Cubs had a rough one today but I expect them to bounce back in this one. Gio's been a solid pitcher this year and while it took a few innings, the Cubs touched him up for 5 runs in 5 2/3 innings. Do that again and end this losing streak at 1, Cubs.
  15. Well it had been an inning or so since the last error.
  16. Lackey's a weirdo just attempting to tell a funny story.
  17. Never seen some random dude on the bench get sent off before.
