  1. Pop out or ground out. I can't decide which way Heyward will go.
  2. the 8th will be worse Barring some runs in the top half, that's almost certainly true.
  3. Well it worked out. Let Soler bat this inning and then put Heyward in the OF.
  4. Another hard hit ball. Joe is playing with fire here.
  5. They did that earlier this year while the announcers made the point that Fowler was the key to the team and him being out was the reason they went into that slump right before the ASB. Runs/game was basically identical and ERA was drastically different.
  6. I quite enjoyed the liner Jake hit right at the Cubs fan in the bleachers earlier.
  7. I really hope this doesn't mean Jake is pitching in the 6th.
  8. Miggy's doing something good here. Hit two squarely off Bum already.
  9. This would be a fine time to have your first 1-2-3 inning, Jake.
  10. We're hitting him. I'm glad we get another inning of him. They have nothing outside of the home run. I mean they're not doing poorly by any stretch, I love the approach against him, but the chance of another run against him is slim. The Giants bullpen is garbage. Huh? They've got seven hits. That's hardly nothing.
  11. Stupid Panik. Couldn't let Jake have his 1-2-3 inning.
  12. Another missed spot from Bumgarner. No way he wanted that pitch middle-middle to KB.
  13. But it was the 3rd time he'd thrown it in that PA 93 up 93 down 88 down Seems like three different pitches/locations to me.
  14. They called Pedroia's to end the game the other night.
  15. Even if he rolls through the next 3 innings at 12 pitches per inning (which there's no indication he will), he's at 104 and will probably be done after 6.
