  1. Let him bat after the Russell grand slam.
  2. Friendly reminder that the Nats blew a 6-0 third inning lead to the Cards in Game 5 in 2012 in a game Gio started.
  3. Leaving a lot of pitches up this inning. Murphy homer was top of the zone, Rendon's hit was up, both pitches to Wieters were upper half of the zone and all three to Taylor were upper half of the zone.
  4. Michael horsefeathering Taylor again. horsefeathers.
  5. Ball 2 to Werth he called a strike twice to Turner.
  6. Turner would likely have beaten that out.
  7. Wish he would have taken until he threw a strike.
  8. Good eye, Russell. Please come through, Heyward.
  9. Good horsefeathers, Jay. Capitalize on this.
  10. All the TBS guys picking the Nats reminds me of Dusty being on the pregame shows in 2015 when he picked the Cubs to lose every game.
  11. Joe prioritizing defense tonight with Heyward in. A little surprised but I like it.
  12. Dusty's teams suck in close out games (3-12 all time, lost their last 9 including two let year). The Nats lost Game 5 at home last year with Scherzer on the mound. Most of the Nats were on that team. The Nats lost Game 5 at home in 2012 with Gio on the mound, blowing a 6-0 lead in that one. Werth, Harper and Zimmerman were on that team. Their fans remember this. Score a couple early runs and that stadium will go silent with fear.
  13. He's up to 16Ks now which is more than Tony Gwynn had in 577 PAs in the 1995 season.
  14. Andy went 9-3 this year, I say roll with him. If it was UMFan's 8-8, different story (sorry UMFan).
  15. Aaron Judge has 14 strikeouts this series. It's the most ever in a postseason series. So he's got more strikeouts through 4 1/2 games than anyone has ever had in 7 games.
  16. And they just showed during the AL game that road teams are 21-19 in Game 5 of a best-of-5 series.
  17. I feel like this is a good time to point out that Dusty's teams are 3-12 all time with the chance to close out a series including 1-12 starting with the 02 World Series and have lost their last nine.
