    Meh Joe pretty much punted this game before it started Next two games they start guys with ERAs of 5.58 and 6. Win those two and we’re all good.

    Yeah, that was absurd. They showed the replay of the exchange and she didn’t even say “effing thief”. Umpire needs to know the situation. I know the code violations escalate and that was the third one but still. That was so minor. Just let it go. Plus the coaches coach during every match so the first violation was BS also.

    So apparently a good chunk of the Champions League and all of the Europa League will be on something call B/R Live, which sucks. TNT will still offer two UCL games per day so I'm sure they'll have all the good matches on there. I always liked watching the UCL and Europa highlight shows every week which I'm sure TNT won't be airing. Just a crappy deal all around. Wish they would have stayed on FS1.

    According to BP: Stl: .531 Chi: .499 Mil: .482 Other NL Contenders: Col: .550 (12 games vs. Ari and LA plus 4 vs Philly) Ari: .549 (10 games vs. Col and LA plus 2 vs Atl, 3 vs Cubs and 3 vs Houston Phi: .510 (7 games vs Atl and 4 vs Col) Atl: .509 (7 vs. Phi, 3 vs. Stl and 2 vs Ari) LAD: .490 There's really no reason Milwaukee shouldn't at least get a WC spot. They've got 6 games against good teams (us and St. Louis) and 14 against teams that are under .500 (though the Pittsburgh games could switch). Meanwhile, the Rockies/DBacks/Dodgers will all cannibalize themselves and Philly is 5 back with 22 games to go, and they'd pass Atlanta first. So as long as the Brewers play .500ish ball (10-10 or 9-11), they should be fine. Even 8-12 would get them to 88 and that could be enough for the second wild card.

    Or they could have looked at the radar and realized it was going to rain all night and smartly decided to not start the game. It’s not like they played for two hours but they only got 5 innings in because it was a slow game and the rain came early. They didn’t even play for 30 minutes. have you seen the weekend forecast and the remaining schedules? we already knew before today that this weekend was probably going to be spent sitting around and desperately trying to get in as many games as possible. I have seen the forecast. But again, they didn’t even play for 30 minutes before they had to stop. There was no reason to even start that game regardless of what it looked like the next two days.

    Bruce “I’d use 17 pitchers a game if I could” Bochy leaves his righty in to face Cain with 1st and 2nd no out (smart), then brings in a lefty to face Yelich (also smart) then leaves that same lefty in for Aguilar (not smart) who hits a two run double.
