So Almora swings at a 2-0 that’s low and in then hacks at a 3-1 pitch that’s a solid 6” outside. He’s useless.

They haven’t said either way but I would assume we’d get Ross. Right now Scherzer is set to pitch the on Tuesday the last week of the year which would allow him to go the final Sunday if he thinks another good start could help him in the Cy Young race. So he doesn’t need to move up a day to get that extra start in. And if they move him up, the only matchup that changes would be going from home vs Mets to at Miami.

Yep. We’ll probably know tomorrow based on who they start. If they go with the rando who was supposed to start today, we’ll get Ross. If they start Roark, we’ll probably get Scherzer.

This is getting absurd. They make the Cubs play until almost 2am last night plan for a day game today and now they’re making the team wait around all day for a game that might not be played anyway (and ultimately might not matter). I know the flight to Chicago isn’t a long one but this is getting crazy. Just postpone this thing and be done with it.

To load the bases in a 2-1 game? Yeah, he threw one up and in on the first pitch and another one high but over the plate on the second pitch. Braun stared at him after the second pitch and they were talking to each other. Then he plunked him on 2-0. Don’t know for sure it was intentional but seemed like it might have been.
