I have fond memories and high blood pressure because of the last Beck in a Cubs bullpen. -
Supposedly Toronto was asking for 4, Frondell+ for Knies. If Buffalo gives up less than that for Knies, then yeah I will be furious. ------- As for Jason Robertson, SEA was given permission to talk to him and they made an 8 year offer. Robertson turned them down. St. Louis also made an offer and supposedly Robertson won't even consider signing with the Blues.

Supposedly #5 pick was also on the table. If all of this is true, then Byram's market was very hot. Would I still make that particular trade for him? No. It's good to know that KD was NOT the only GM being overly aggressive about Byram.

I see Chris Paddack elected free agency. Would not surprise me Jed gives him a call. Get Peterson off that Mets team that is already looking forward to the off-season and I think he can be a useful arm. Though we all agree Cubs need a higher upside arm.

It sounds like an extension will get done. I like the player, but I would not have made this particular trade. Hawks could have gotten Byram for less than what they paid. Oh well, Now imagine what it will cost a team to pry Knies out of Toronto.

Hawks acquire Bowen Byram for the 4th overall pick. I do not like this trade.

Sounds like Nic Claxton to the Bulls. Bulls get Nic Claxton. Nets get: Julius Randle and 28. Wolves get: #33 from Brooklyn. Edit: Bulls are sending Mo Gueye to the Wolves.

We've said a lot in recent days, but todays' game is what this particular board needed badly. I hope this game help certain players who has been struggling. As for PCA, he is determined to play his way onto the All Star team despite the voting.
