    that's a lot of points for looking pretty bad on Monday night. Classic bounce back game expectations. I'd like to think the bye week will help the Bears but they are 0-2 in Smith's career after a bye, including an embarassing loss at Cleveland last year. Not the biggest sample size ever. I think it'll be more the bounce back game than that the game is after a bye.

    If Mizzou had beaten aTm there is no way Gameday would have passed you guys up. I'm still not understanding why they did. That's a significantly worse matchup, imo. Spurrier vs. Tennessee is the bigger name matchup for the average fan.

    Don't forget Beckett struggled early on in Game 1 of the NLCS (4 runs in the first inning, 2 more in the 6th, gave up 2 HRs). No way Beckett in 2003 can compare to Kenny Rogers this October with an outing like that on his resume.

    :D The Raiders were up 14-0 and 21-3 over Cleveland in Week 4 and we know how that game turn out so I wouldn't get too excited yet. Yeah, but Arizona is coming into the game off a heartbreaking loss. I thought Oakland would win too. Exactly...you know every Cardinal is thinking "God we CAN'T lose to freaking OAKLAND!", and sure enough, that's what they're doing. If Arizona loses, does Denny Green get fired? Not during the season.

    Is the game on FOX? CBS decided to just show me their studio watching the game and arguing if the run off was the right call. I was mildly amused at CBS's coverage of that. Now they're showing clips 10 seconds after the play. This is embarassing.
