  1. Power and Internet problems at home, so you're only getting the starters: Iowa: Mathes Tenn: Berg Daytona: Taylor Peoria: Ceda
  2. Months? Are we talking just this year (in which case, this doesn't make sense, nobody uses pre-season in a comparison between players). Or are you including last season? I may be braindead, but I don't even remember Hill doing anything significant last year. All I can recollect is that he was one of many going up and down last year as players came on/off the DL. Am I missing something here? You missed August and September of last season.
  3. arent all hits where the defenders arent? Whoops...he was talking about how they weren't hitting him hard.
  4. Pie is second and Hoffpauir fourth in BA in the PCL (Pie second in OBP, Hoffpauir fourth and Pie fifth in OPS). Matt Matulia is fourth in the BA in the FSL. Oh, and raw's boy Mark Holliman is tied for the SL league in ERA at 0.00. Carlos Marmol is second in Ks in the PCL behind Tim Lincecum and Billy Muldowney is 1 back of first in Ks in the MWL.
  5. As did Mike Conley, Jr. Cook will go pro also. Wasn't this all reported like a week ago, or was that just rumored? It was reported, then everyone took it back because they realized the players hadn't completely decided.
  6. Peoria sweeps the doubleheader, winning game two 6-1. :)
  7. Angel Guzman will start on Saturday night.
  8. Jemel Spearman's dad called in to the Daytona postgame show and was saying most of Veal's hits were just where the defenders weren't and he pitched better than the last two times out.
  9. The throwing error was awesome, it went over the first baseman, deflected off the wall and just went in to no-man's land in right-center field.
  10. YUSUF and Blake Lalli are both 2 for 3 (YUSUF with a triple too), DJ Lewis is 2 for 4 for Peoria.
  11. I think he has 7 walks... 3 this game and 4 last game. Still, he's awesome. Curse that HR he gave up to ruin his first start.
  12. Daytona starter Todd Blackford (4.2 IP, 1 ER, 3 H, 3 K/1 BB, 1 HR) left the game with an undisclosed injury.
  13. The Don has hit a rough patch. Still it could be a lot worse. He only had 3 BB today in 4.1 (and had 1 in the first 4), so that's good.
  14. Daytona wins 4-3. Avery gets the save.
  15. Ugh, Veal gives up one more in the fifth and is lifted there. His final line: 4.1 IP, 4 ER, 6 H, 3 K/3 BB. Mississippi down 4-3 after 6. Peoria up 5-1 in the 4th. Rafael Dolis: 4 IP, 1 ER, 3 H, 2 K/2 BB.
  16. As did Mike Conley, Jr.
  17. Spears scores on an E-5! Norwood hits the ball and the third baseman threw it away and Spears went all the way home. Norwood safe at second. Cubs lead it 4-3.
  18. i think Vances kids are still really young I thought he only had a daughter?
  19. Down 2, Daytona has tied the game in the 9th and still have a runner at first with one out Valdez triple, Reynolds RBI double, Chirinos reaches on an error on a bunt and Spears with an RBI FC).
  20. Oh, way to go. I just realized the game is on WGN. Yay Aramis!
