Partial AFL rosters are out. The Cubs will send OF Brett Jackson, 3B Josh Vitters and RHP Chris Archer.

From my Baseball Prospectus newsletter:

It's supposed to be implemented immediately.

Thanks to CubsinNC for posting first about it: Looking at Peoria's roster, it appears Manolin De Leon has taken the vacated roster spot.

The Red Sox were the best and the Mariners were the worst. The Cubs tied for the 24th best draft of the decade: http://www.baseballamerica.com/online/draft/draft-dish/2010/2610196.html

Lambert's operation was on September 22nd. Likely won't be back till 2011. Marcus Hatley had TJS last month too.

Hopefully Levine's making a (poor) prediction. In the Grabow thread, it was mentioned that Bruce said they hadn't decided whether to offer him arbitration or not.

Three Cubs in BA's NWL Top 20, including 2 of league's top 3 prospects. Hak-Ju Lee is the second Cub in as many years to be rated the top prospect in the NWL and the third in four years (Vitters in 2008 and Colvin in 2006 were also the top rated prospects in the NWL):

No Cubs made the list, though BA said Austin Kirk would have made the list if he had logged enough innings:
