  1. I don't think this is how Collins and Syndergaard planned it out.
  2. And Chase Utley just hit a home run to break a 0-0 tie.
  3. Noah Syndergaard just got tossed for throwing behind Chase Utley in the third inning of a 0-0 game with no prior warnings.
  4. Apparently Salvador Perez was involved in a nasty collision right before the big Royals comeback.
  5. Myrtle Beach PPD. Doubleheader tomorrow.
  6. No one was covering third but it was still a very close play and, down 4 with 2 outs, a really unnecessary risk.
  7. Can we pretend like that ball touched Heyward or Zobrist's glove and call that an unearned run?
  8. We should start a pool as to which pitcher the Pirates will lose to in the WC game. They're totally getting Thor this year. Syndergaard or Scherzer seem like the obvious choices but I think it would be funny if they got dominated by Kershaw, especially because of Kerhshaw's playoff reputation (if that's still a thing).
  9. Yeah, I could go a bunch of different ways too. 1. Contreras 2. Torres 3. Jimenez 4. Almora 5. Happ 6. Cease 7. Candelario 8. Edwards 9. Hudson 10. Caratini (could easily go with Clifton here and thought about Zagunis and Dewees too)
  10. Eloy has made the jump for me to #3. If you flip him and Almora, we'd have the same top 7. ETA: Oh, and I'd flip Contreras and Torres too.

  12. That Soler strikeout was such utter [expletive].
  13. Only one BB from Stinnett is good.
  14. In a piece on Urias a few weeks ago discussing rumors the Dodgers would break him into their big league bullpen, I believe BA said he has never hit 90 pitches or thrown more than 6 innings in a single game.
  15. BA Prospect Hot Sheet: It's Eloy's second straight week on this list. This time he's #1 and Jeimer also comes in at #6. http://www.baseballamerica.com/minors/prospect-hot-sheet-may-27/#P7WRmjvmSRJbPkof.97
  16. I don't see why the Padres would want to trade Pomeranz. Edit: TT is too fast for me.

  18. I just can't fathom how the guy who robbed Rizzo of a home run last series made those two misplays.
  19. Starting against the Mets in place of the injured Alex Wood. Looks like it's only a spot start and Wood is expected to pitch against the Cubs next week. http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/15744839/los-angeles-dodgers-call-top-prospect-julio-urias-friday-start
  20. I'm not sure why Detroit would give up on Norris just yet. Frustrating that Cleveland is competitive because I want Danny Salazar.
  21. LSU and Florida are headed to the 13th in their SEC Tourney game. [tweet] [/tweet]
  22. We need a trade veto in this league desperately.
  23. I'm right there with you. Most of the starters at the upper levels are lower ceiling, but BORs have value, too. There are a lot of interesting relief prospects at the upper levels, though. Starters Wiliams (24) AAA - BOR Underwood (21) AA - MOR Blackburn (22) AA - BOR+ Clifton (21) High A - MOR De La Cruz (21) Low A - MOR (Elbow Rehab) Cease (20) SS Low A - TOR Hudson (19) SS Low A - MOR+ Relievers Edwards (24) - AAA Pena (26) - AAA Concepcion (24) - AAA Patton (28) - AAA Peralta (25) - AA Black (24) - AA Others could be added to these lists, but those are the ones that I currently consider having the best mix of both floor and ceiling. If you're willing to count Black, I'd include Paniagua.
