    I guess the hope there is that Lackey can get at least one out from a guy just up from AAA and a white guy with dreadlocks. Really playing with fire the way Lackey had pitched the first three innings and the fifth (though no one scored in the fifth).

    I haven't consigned Soler to oblivion like many here have. That said, The offense isn't the problem, and the rotation will probably right itself. The bullpen is a different story. Soler's injury has also forced guys like Szczur, Coghlan, etc to play way more and be exposed.

    6.5 game lead and they're getting worse, not better. This was a team they had a 14 game lead on. You're already giving them a loss tomorrow, too? They're up 6.5 if they lose today.
