So apparently Dylan Cease hit 103 mph earlier in the start he left with an injury (confirmed reading, not a stadium scoreboard).

I don't disagree that Pomeranz is good. My only problem is I thought Espinoza would net a player with a more established track record who wasn't close to his career max IP totals. That being said, the odds are stacked in favor of Boston winning this trade.

Given how mediocre Stinnett and Sands have been, how bad Steele has been and how Cease got hurt again, it's especially annoying seeing the Cubs' top second round target, Jack Flaherty, doing well in the Cardinals system. Whatever, Flaherty is a pitcher too.
