    Yeah, I was shocked they didn't even mention that on the broadcast.

    I think most people think that about Fitzpatrick, but he'd project as a free safety and has literally never taken a snap at FS. He has played some strong safety, but mostly plays slot corner. On his snaps as an outside CB, he's been pretty good but just needs more reps out there. I think you put him on one corner to start, and see if he can handle it before moving him. I think he can. I have Alexander ahead of Ward because of his ability to handle bigger WRs. While there isn't a huge size difference (Ward probably slightly under 5'10", Alexander probably just under 5'11"), Ward had a tough time with Simmie Cobbs and other big WRs and Alexander had a strong performance vs. Clemson's Mike Williams last year.     Badler says the Yankees, Marlins and Rangers are the favorite for Cuban 21-year old CF Julio Pablo Martinez. Of those three teams, the Rangers have the most cap space. He hasn't been cleared yet as a free agent.

    If Jake goes the sign midseason route, he should just sign a 1-year deal so he can be a free agent again next year when numerous teams will be willing to go over the luxury tax.

    I think if the Bears draft Williams at #8, they really reached. I like him at a later pick after a trade much more The Combine hasn't happened yet. It's way too early to get hung up on the value of individual players.

    I know this a Bears centric convo and he's likely not a target but watching probably a half dozen regular season games then the SEC Championship and the Playoffs I'm in love with Roquan Smith. I could see him being the best non-QB/Saquon Barkley player in this draft. I like Roquan a lot but I think Minkah Fitzpatrick is the best defensive player in this draft.
