    Small critique, since you are usually non-critiquable. Kluber is on normal rest for Game 5. Starting Game 1 gives him an extra day, starting Game 2 has him on regular rest. So really this horsefeathers up is on Francona in not keeping 1 of of Bauer/Salazar/Carrasco available on full or more rest for a Game 5 bullpen chance. Since he burned Bauer (or Game 1/2 starter) on short rest tonight, burned whoever started Game 3 (Carrasco), and now using Salazar. Oof, my bad on that. You're right.

    None of this made sense. Kluber should've started Game 1 so he'd be on normal rest if Game 5 was necessary. Not sure why you'd start Carrasco in Game 3 over Game 2 - he could've been available in a potential Game 5. There's no point in having Bauer come on short rest when you're still up 2-1. Yeesh. The other AL managers have been bad too. Why bring Verlander out of the pen when you're up 2-1? Why not start Sale if he's available in middle relief? And Girardi in Game 2? Enough said.
