If that's the case, there aren't too many organizations better than the Rays in developing pitchers. Admittedly, I'm not sure how much credit Hickey deserves for that.
I really, really like Alzolay and think he could start for the big league team (if healthy) by August 2018. And Theo's comments about him were a nice reinforcement to that line of thinking. Alex Lange from the 2017 draft is probably going to start at Myrtle Beach so he might make a big impact by 2019.
Meant to post that. Thanks! Here's the link: http://www.baseballamerica.com/draft/2017-mlb-draft-grades-chicago-cubs/?utm_content=buffer9aeae&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer#IJZbqhc8Kks4lUod.97
No seriously. If you're going to set off fireworks while my infant son is trying to sleep because your piece of horsefeathers baseball team finally made the World Series, I hope the whole team gets dysentery and can't even take the field next week.
Yep. Sucks living in LA. Plus I was in NYC for a wedding when the Mets eliminated the Cubs in 2015. Why can't a team from like North Dakota be the one eliminating the Cubs?
Maddon just played that small ball-leave your better outfield in to face the deathman. He wanted Almora's glove because the big 3 couldnt get it done. We're just worn out Sharma just responded to me on Twitter I think the save thing is semantics. Davis was basically just unavailable. I wish Joe would've just said that instead of invoking the "save" part of the equation. He shouldn't have warmed up in the top of the 9th if he was unavailable.
Do you see the problem here? Here’s the thing. Wades arm is about to fall off. And they haven’t hit worth horsefeathers for the entire playoffs. Roll the dice with lackey who’s been ok lately. That's horsefeathering stupid. You send your best pitcher out, especially against their best hitter, not one of your worst. The goal is to extend the game and give your offense a chance.
