After 3 quarters, ASU is up 21-17. USC has the ball, first and 10, at ASU's 40 and are driving.

Geez, just as I was about to compliment ASU on a nice drive, a deflected pass ends up being intercepted by USC. Sigh.

Wow, good hold by ASU. I was convinced USC would score with ease, take the lead and never look back there.

And LenDale White and Reggie Bush are saving USC from Leinart's pathetic performance. Touchdown USC, 21-17, 8:25 left in the 3rd quarter. Sigh. :(

USC drives to midfield and Bush fumbles. Refs try to rule the ball down, but instant replay saves the day. But Keller throws a stupid pass for an interception right away. :roll:

ASU's starting QB Sam Keller just got an injection on his shoulder, has a lot of medical guys around him and is questionable. LenDale White rushes for a touchdown and Arizona State is now up 21-10 with 12:41 left in the 3rd quarter. :( USC drove down the field with ease there.

Matt Leinart is 10/23 with 113 yards completed; USC has 9 penalties in the first half (all on offense) and 2/10 on 3rd down. I want the Bears to draft Jesse Ainsworth just so he can kick the ball out of the back of the endzone on every kickoffs. I hate Doug Brien. USC starts the second half at their own 20 and get a first down quickly for 12 yards.

TOUCHDOWN, 21-3, ARIZONA STATE. 4:34 in the first half. USC's D is tiring out in the near-100-degree temps in the Valley of the Sun and their offense is doing nothing to boot.

TOUCHDOWN ARIZONA STATE! \:D/ 14-3! Nice solid drive by the Devils, including a great reception by Jamal Lewis for a 20-yard gain (he stuck his hand around the DB while diving for the ball to catch it). Lewis scored the TD too.

I believe the Cubs hold a 2 mil option on Williamson. Some notable non-closer relievers on the market are Felix Rodriguez, Guillermo Mota, Tim Worrell, Mike Timlin, Dotel (though he's injured), and Rudy Seanez, to name a few. Bobby Howry is another intriguing name.
