    Got a ND after a rough 5th. 5 IP, 2 ER, 6 H, 3/2, 98 pitches. Loved his slider and curve. The curve was a thing of beauty. He was steadily in the 90-92 range, which is a little lower in velocity than he normally is at (92-94). Didn't like his delivery, kind of herky-jerky at release. Kid's going to be an ace for years to come if he stays healthy.

    Robert Stock! What position is Stock? What kind of player is he? Who does he compare to? HS RHP from the LA area. Hard thrower, strong breaking pitches. Also, a power-hitting catcher. LHP David Price pitches for Vanderbilt.

    And KC just hired Dayton Moore. :( Yeah but in the paper down here(KC), Dan Glass says that he will still have a big say in what goes on. Dan likes to think since his dad, David is rich, that somehow makes him a smart baseball guy. My point being, KC might be last, but they have a bright future ahead of them. Not if Dan Glass is helping them with their draft picks and personel choices. Moore has full freedom to do what he wants (heck, he already helped them indirectly when the passed on Miller for Hochevar). If he didn't have the full freedom, he would have waited for another team to give him that.

    He's looked impressive so far. His curve has looked awesome. 0-0 after 3. Addendum: Matt Kemp is awesome too.

    ??? Sean Marshall was drafted by the Cubs, the Red Sox drafted his twin, Brian Marshall. But Brian's a lefty too. Whoops, skimmed over the "RHP twin" part.

    I think Tracey would be better suited as a big league reliever. Who knows what Ozzie's temper tantrum will do to him and his career, though. Broadway is more likely to be a 5th starter down the line.

    Daytona wins it 2-0 in 10. Sotolongo, Weber and Mendez combined to limit Brevard County to 2 hits. The Daytona runs scored in the 10th on RBI singles by Culpepper and Fox.
