  1. Our very own Sulley is being QTd by the Stoolie idiot Big Cat who's basically demanding a full on press conference lol
  2. At least from the very top, I'm gonna assume, yea, not possibly that dumb. What dumb sports guys (Poles, Flus) might do for a cover up... Way more likely. We've seen that story play out before - here recently in Chicago. But if it really is CP (not confirmed at this point), hopefully that's an obvious enough "turn him in don't cover it up" scenario
  3. Uh this doesn't sound great?
  4. I think people overrate the side change a lot, but given all the facts here I would leave him at RT. Borom should have been getting reps on both sides already as the primary backup. The "blind side" is overrated. Just go with the least movement.
  5. I would maybe wait on a status update on Alan Williams. On the off chance that the D just needed Flus scheming it to be non-terrible, maybe that 12.5 line isn't enough payoff (but try and do an alternate line at like 9.5 with a related parlay)
  6. I bet really small amount just for fun, but had a good week last week, making like $20 off $5 worth of bets. I may just plow all those winnings into it because yolo. Worst case I'm still at where I was a week ago.
  7. In all in honestly if Prime were the only hope to get Caleb to enter the draft and play for Bears then it doesn't matter, they're fucked.
  8. Unfortunately it's still a big uphill battle to even get the #1. So prime is gonna convince Caleb to play for Bears. Who's gonna convince Prime to coach for Bears lol But yea, if they get #1 again all on their own, all bets are off, but 2 games in and it's all very premature IMO.
  9. You're right, probably slightly more likely that the QB is acquired from a spot outside the top 5.
  10. I'm one of Poles earliest haters in some ways, once I realized what the 2022 plan was. Maybe I've just had more time to be comfortable with my legitimate gripes on him now, but I find it hilarious the hard turn from the fanbase over two games. Probably all the bad things are a direct risk of the long term approach they took, so duh. But also any of the benefits of said approach haven't even had time to reap the possible dividends of it.
  11. It doesn't have to be towards any specific 2024 plan. Picking a QB at 1 because that's what youre supposed to do when you have the #1 pick is pointless. If he didn't like those prospects you wait until your time. There's about an equal chance of forcing your way into a spot to get a QB than needing a top 5 pick or whatever. The key is that it has to be the right QB and not letting circumstance aimlessly dictate when you make that big investment.
  12. I don't think 2023 had to be so clear cut. If he just didn't believe in any of the QB prospects, at least he put a real effort into the O (though I'd have liked another OL signing). But it wasn't a true waste like 2022 was. "I like Fields at 2 year cheap better than these prospects at a big 4 year guaranteed deal, but either way I'm going to get some weapons and add a OL early" is an acceptable approach to the O to me.
  13. Yea, I think that line of thinking was more likely in 2022. Fields did enough to force his hand into putting legit effort into his support for 2023, but the distinct possibility remains that 2022 broke/stunted him in some way along the way.
  14. I don't think Jenkins is unbiased in some of his points, and he harps on some of the footwork stuff in a very narrow/obsessive way (he makes it sound new, but he was talking about the same thing last year so it's no longer brand new), but always a decent listen (and alternative to 90 minutes of JT doom porn)
  15. And even a lot of their second rounders have or probably will not get second contracts. Due in no small part to the FO changeover (Daniels let walk and even in Tev gets healthy I think Poles will let him walk). JJ may walk too. Their one long term top 75 draft pick in like 6 years may end up being a average Y-TE.
  16. Not all runs are created equal. There's definitely been a lack of designed runs. And not all designed runs are created equal either. If you're not in for JTs magnum opus, this article today is a brief one showing the difference between sone of the designed run schemes from Getsy this year against some of Stiechen's designs and even the stuff Getsy did last year after week 6. Direct link too https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/lists/chicago-bears-offense-justin-fields-luke-getsy/ So yea, everyone wants to rely on his legs less, but what's there still sucks. And there's also been a lack of simple PA and PA boot stuff through 2 games. They rarely ran whole field reads last year cuz grocery baggers were at WR, but keeping some of the simple half read field stuff is fine too. Fields didn't need to becone a mvp passer over one off season.
  17. Of course, that wasamy people's concerns with the massive tank job Poles did in 2022. Which if he was dead set on tanking, why the hell didn't he capitalize on his asset either before or after? Oh Justin's supreme athletic ability put him in a tough position to move on? Dang, maybe he would have been worth trying to support, and if he still wasn't progressing after 2023 you'd have already been two years into building your core for the next QB instead of one.
  18. It's 90 minutes of blinders, and the answer is mental illness.
  19. It appears the collective Bears doom boner is so large it's taken down YouTube and JTs Fields video won't load.
  20. Given the entirety of every drop back lasts about 4 minutes (see below tweet), that means we're just gonna get 86 minutes of evisceration. 😳
  21. Bears fans have fed the doom boner cycle too well and JT O Sullivan bumped the offense torture porn to a 90(!) minute video this week. Bears fans are gonna buy that man a second home.
  22. Poles' emphasis on RAS led to an unintentional focus on personal reasons amirite
  23. I love pulling up the Bears all time receiving leaders because the first two positions are a FLANKER and LEFT END.
  24. Any short gain needs to be Fields in gun or the Philly push. Any other call isn't really worth contemplating
