    I don't know if it's recency bias of all the poor PG play the Bulls have had lately, but if they're trading up that high, I want Scoot, not Miller. And I'm pretty generally anti tank, but I'd do a Lavine centered trade and roll the dice. But I wouldn't sell off every last piece to fully tank. Would have no problem keeping around Derozan on his last year as vet leader. Would need a unprotected pick or a player pick combo to move him in that case. But I'm also an extreme casual as far as basketball these days so don't listen to me lol

    Figured. St. Louis is basically 5 hours from every Midwestern city. I went to SLU and every Midwestern City was represented with a cache of students, 5 hours from home.

    Trying to triangulate you Anyways, according to drive time stadium to stadium, Lucas Oil edges out Soldier Field by about an hour of drive time. But considering the broader CHI base and prob better flight options, and a fan base that travels, likely thier strongest road revenue turnout for the city. Nashville also about equal drive time as Chicago fwiw.

    Based in what I saw their attendance last year was a hair over official capacity (100.4%). But some of these stadiums have such low "official" figures with big expandable or SRO capacity, I don't really know what that means. They have a pretty big stadium. Is it possible the easily sell out 97-100% of official capacity but have a +3% SRO capacity they dip into only a few times a year for big draws? http://www.espn.com/nfl/attendance/_/sort/homePct You can see other sites that track it differently though (for example counting Dallas as their official 80k instead of the expandable 100k capacity). Not sure what Arrowheads deal is there.

    Yea that's what I mean. In any sport the "generational" tag needs to be reserved at least for guys who would have been easy #1s the year before they actually came out / were eligible. Caveats with really strong/weak drafts being beside the point. If it's just a guy who's an easy #1 in his draft year then he's a bona-fide/consensus #1 or something, but not a "generational prospect". Probably arbitrary, but that's how I've been likenining it with cross sports references. Like so far out ahead of the field theat everyone saw it/would have capitalized on it for like 24 straight months.

    Would have gone #1 at that time? Not a 2023 to 2021/22 comp. But like would have gone #1 as a 15/16 year old in 2021/22?

    I've admittedly checked out a lot the past few years. Basically stuck with Seth Jones and then also traded any other decent player they had right? So basically Jones, Bedard, and blank slate? Any minor leaguers that will likely be up in a top 6 role?

    Nice write up raw. I can't agree more about the process-result thoughts on Wright. I hope it's solid process and great results. But agreed, not really sure.

    Eh I personally think the bottom is still pretty barren and needs comp. But I readily admit if you load up on 6ths and 7ths you won't hold onto them all. Last year they redshirt IRed one and lost another off the PS.

    Another Senior Bowl guy, though he was on the other roster. Bears really leaned into that scouting opportunity I guess.

    Could see him using 3 of the 4 and doing the multi trade back like last year to load up on late swings.
