  1. I'm gonna post even harder now We do it for the fans
  2. First two posts in 18 years. Uhhh, welcome lol
  3. Yea I'm doing the refresh trick, but it's a little bit tedious. Gotta remember to hit the reply below if I don't want to specifically quote someone.
  4. Has anyone figured out how to delete a quote section if you accidentally add it? It won't let me delete so I just have to refresh. (mobile, chrome)
  5. @Hairyducked Idiot wins. Spoilers are gone lol. Also as a test, the '@' tag feaute looks like it works well. I don't even know if we had it on the old software.
  6. I find it kind of weird they even do the local teams. Feels like the rule should be no AL or NL Central teams. Then choose from rest. Teams this year are Rockies, Giants, Dodgers, Cubs, White Sox, Cardinals, Braves, Blue Jay's, As, Royals, Yankees, Red Sox, Orioles, Pirates, Mets, Rays I could have handled any except Cardinals. May have had to resign my post lol Trying to remember the teams I was growing up. Definitely Yankees, Marlins, Braves, and Mariners. Can't remember any of the rest except it was definitely never Cubs. Probably missing one or two, then by middle school I think it was the town name and not mlb teams, just like Red, Blue, Black with the town name I think. Actually Braves may have been Indians. Or possibly both at different years.
  7. I may cheer for the Rockies because my son's tee ball team was just announced and it's Rockies and I'm a coach. Plus I have a Rockies blanket from 2017/18 when my wife and I went to an Denver April game and she did not dress warm enough and bought a $80 Rockies blanket. Go Cubs/Rockies!
  8. Nothing odd for me. What specifically?
  9. Horsefeathers it you have to pull in Fred energy and type it out yourself.
  10. I said 76-80 which is admittedly a bit like throwing a dart blindfolded for me. But I'm in a "prove it" mindset. And if they do prove it I'll have to figure out how to *creatively* stream games on marquee
  11. Yea I think that is the issue. It's both an article and a topic. Which is fine. Presumably these articles will spin out into threaded discussions and that's kind of the whole point (down with the mega threads)
  12. Cool. Hopefully the real time content and stuff makes a lot of our old habits unnecessary. If 60 minutes has worked on your other boards I'm fine with giving it a go. Really appreciate all the feedback and open exchange.
  13. Gotcha. It's not a common use case, but one example where I know a longer than 60 minute edit is used would be like the draft day thread. The thread owner will go and edit the original post as draft goes on and update with links and stuff for the players selected so it's easy to grab summaries in one place. But I know that goes kind of with the anti/pro megathread that was discussed when you came on board. But maybe there's a way to incorporate those types of things with articles or whatever since front page content will be more dynamic and frequent now. I'm also a terrible typer who doesn't proofread and I'll edit posts well after if I notice a spelling error, but I'm not too concerned about that aspect. I just need to spell check lol.
  14. Interesting that it's limited to 60 minutes. Is that a custom setting? Is just meant to encourage new activity?
  15. Should be the the right of the header the three periods.
  16. Just clicking the thread title is working for me.
  17. Yep it's pretty snazzy, and I've been playing around with alternate settings (for instance you can make only unread appear which people may or may not like). What I haven't figured out is if there is an quicker way to switch between streams other than default. Is it just "menu bar - > activity - > my activity streams"?
  18. For anyone who was an active topics user on old board, I think I've managed to do stream settings that replicate the old active topic view pretty well. Supposedly this link should work for anyone then you can save it as your own default (will show up when you click the newspaper-y icon) https://northsidebaseball.com/discover/14/ (posting this in multiple places)

  20. Nice - I have the quote button now. You're doing a great job keeping up with these requests! Thanks.
  21. https://northsidebaseball.com/discover/14/ See if that works. Apparently should share my settings. Pretty close approx of old Active Topics
  22. Been a long time since I used Tapatalk, but it was always super buggy for me. 🤷‍♂️
