  1. Can/has he played the OF, specifically CF? Probably not. He's primarily a 2B whose dabbled at 3B. That's too bad, because his offensive profile seems really intriguing. Just don't see us having any interest if he's strictly a IF. According to LaRussa, if you can play the IF, you can play the OF. Even if that's true I'm mostly interested in CF. 2. I saw he made a million dollars over there, so I'm not sure how he could have a 90% paycut if he makes a roster. Practice Squad. Right. Hayden Smith is a rugby guy that was on the Jets and spent a year on the practice squad. Though that guy wasn't nearly the star in rubgy that this Jarryd Hayne is. He's not coming over to hang out on the practice squad. He will probably do that for what remains of this season, and if he's not on a roster by next year he'd probably go back and take advantage of that lifetime agreement with his Kangaroo team. If that's his plan I don't think he'll even make a PS this season. I would imagine if he's serious about it he's willing to go at least all of next season on a PS. While its peanuts, the long term payoff is still there. Edit- after looking at the NRL schedule it looks like he could go all the way into the start of training camp 2016 and miss the same amount of time in Rugby that Jordan missed in basketball (if you want a rough comparison) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Pick 1RB 1 FLX Standard DeSean Jackson at Ari Joique Bell at Shonn Greene vs Jac Terrance Williams at Sea Greene may not go, but thinking Bell and Jackson anyways Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. So when we say 6/120 for a Japanese player were talking inclusive of the posting fee now that it's capped right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. It's a safe assumption I would think. From my memory his peripherals shouldn't support a repeat of this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Sad, yes, but is it a sandwich? As long as it's two pieces of evenly sliced bread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Fear. Jay you poor bastard. Run hard. Run fast. Ola has played really well, honestly. If you like PFF grades, he's been graded very well. I don't know that it means a ton for a move to LT, but I think you can get by at least vs Carolina with that situation. I'll get worried if it goes on much longer than that. I've had to listen to half the games on radio this year. Of the two I actually watched Ola looked awful I one (NYJ) and I don't recall much about the other (SF). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Sandwiches and subs are very similar foods, but are ultimately their own things. If you promise a group of people subs and then present them with a bunch of sandwiches they will rightly be perplexed and frustrated as to why you are playing cruel food games with them. On the flipside, if you promise people sandwiches and bring them subs, they will be pleasantly surprised (because subs are inherently superior). Either way, people's perceptions are very, very different with these types of foods despite their many similarities. Maybe the answer is looking at something like linguine vs. udon. Both are noodles, yet both are not pasta. wraps ... they are gringo burritos and deserve a fate not unlike kim jong un's uncle While you started out really well in that post, you are in fact a monster. 14. You can only get so much fun out of a hot dog. Or any other sandwich, really. [restart thread] a hot dog isn't a sandwich[/restart thread] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Also if you're going to throw out a MPG projection your best bet is to go over at least 5% due to injuries and DNP to give you something that is actually comparable for reference purposes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. He also didn't have a history of debilitating plantar fasciitis like Noah that I can say, speaking from experience, does in fact get irritated with more stress put on it. Between that and the deep front court they'll have, there's zero reason to play Noah more than 30-32 minutes a game. Aren't all the doctors saying plantar faciatis comes and goes regardless of stress? Even so do you think 3 minutes on the court makes a difference? If it does than limit what he does in practice. No, individually 3-5 minutes a game won't make a difference, but you add that up over 82 games and it's 240-400 minutes, or like playing an additional 8-12 games, and yes, that does make a difference. Doctors who haven't had PF can go jump in a lake. Mine acts up much worse when I'm running 50 miles a week than it does when I'm running 30 miles a week. Are your sure your personal experience is typical of all PF? It seems ditching those French shoes and being proactive about foot care really helped Noah's PF last year. 18. As someone who just spent the last 3 months mostly in California, you are wrong. There is a distinct difference between Mexican and Tex Mex. You are describing Tex Mex which is bastardized American influenced Mexican food. I've also had a taco with beans in it. It's not difficult, nor did it make it a burrito. Taco = one base, folded into two sides with an open air top Burrito = one base, folded over and wrapped up to an enclosed concoction. This isn't rocket science. Well burritos are basically unique to northern Mexicans and not Mexico as a whole so that Tex-Mex burrito is just authentically Mexican as whatever California has by and large, but those cultures are still going to be somewhat unique due to being separated. If we're trying to stick with a strictly historically Mexican dish though you're topping out on like two ingredients either way one of which may not be meat. I guess if proper is meant as historical, no that's not proper as the historical burrito was solely meant to be easily wrapped, but there is a just as authentic culture of plated burritos with mole, which I include to dustinguish it from tacos. Otherwise they are just basically large tacos with a different wrap technique. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. A proper burrito is wrapped end over end and covered in a mole or other sauce and eaten with silverware. None of this is true for a taco. Anyways the very first "subs" were called Italian sandwiches and the sandwich N&G is trying to limit the definition didn't really become popular until pre sliced bread. So while the whole expectation thing is very true of subs its not because sub's aren't sandwiches, but rather they are the original sandwich and have become bastardized.

  25. If roasted Italian beef in a sauce and placed on an Italian or French roll is just "Italian beef" what's it called when you take the roll away? Also what do you call pulled pork on a bun and if the answe is just "pulled pork" and not "pulled pork sandwich" what do you call it in the absence of a bun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
