I don't know what you mean but overrated, maybe that it's not really a concern? But I think it is real in this league and I think the Trestman already lost the defensive side of that room last year, when everything fell apart post-Lovie. He maintained credibility while his offense was improving, and doing things no Bears offense had done in years, if ever. Now that the offense has stalled, and fingers are being pointed by and toward half the team, this is a problem again. Trestman has his work cut out for him this week, getting the teams' collective head on straight and figuring out how to make this offense not suck. This team is a bummer. Overrated meaning it is a concern but its impact is overstated. I still don't even get an impression he's lost the defense. Maybe he's just very distant though. Most of the talk of him losing the D seems to have come from former bears defenders. Maybe they're talking to their old teammates and they are frustrated, but until the actual current players are getting quoted it's probably a non issue on the D side. Honestly over the past two years hasn't it just been a bunch of former LB who rail on Trestman/the team? I think losing the locker room is overrated. You have to keep the trust of your best players and leaders and everyone else falls in line as players self-regulate a lot. As far as possible coaching changes it will come down to Emery's trust in Trestman. If he stays you have to assume he maintains autonomy over his coordinators. Firing just Tucker seems scapegoating to me considering the D has basically done what we expected of it (average) while dealing with injuries. If you do fire Tucker I'm not sure how good of a coordinator you can snatch with the prospect of a HC possibly on make or break year. Certainly you're probably limiting yourself to 4-3 guys. There's too much talent on the O that it couldn't click at any second. Maybe the players and coaches Wil get a sense of urgency going into this week and we'll get a lucky win in a shootout @NE and still head into the bye in okay shape. 3-5 and were basically playing for 1 loss football. Saw this one today. According to Gil Brandt. Pickable passes (ball thrown that should have been INT): Best: Cam Newton (0 in 179 att), Matt Ryan (1-234). Worst: Jay Cutler (9-229) #footballstats I find it strange that some people on here are pretending that the guy isnt the QB that tends to throw a back breaking INT in the worst situations. Statistically an average to above average QB, okay. But he's been an INT prone in bad situations over the last 9 years. To think it's a matter of 'cleaning it up' and that he's going to suddenly 'clean it up' is laughable and mind-numbingly stupid. Dan Bernstein had it right when seriously doubting that he'll ever be able to put together a win streak long enough to take a team to the Superbowl. McNabb is incorrect about comparing Cutler to Romo due to the fact that Romo has better career numbers then Jay. This bad situations talk is just dumb. Sure it's nothing that you can quantify with a stat, but it's definitely the majority opinion about him that isn't necessarily untrue. Kyle is right and maybe my wording of it is off but Cutler throws INTs with the best of them for whatever reason. I too believe he'll never be able to put together a sustained level of play good enough to take a team to the Superbowl. I hope I'm wrong. You can't quantify it with a stat because an interception is almost never better or worse based on situation. About the only factor is field position and pass type which is a coaching issue unless the QB audibles to it. Besides if we're gonna be all meatbally about it then the "worse" time is clutch/4th Q come from behind stuff that Jay is pretty decent at. As a final note I will use my meatball credit on Jays protection of the football in the pocket (ie fumbles) rather than his INT. Can/has he played the OF, specifically CF? Probably not. He's primarily a 2B whose dabbled at 3B. That's too bad, because his offensive profile seems really intriguing. Just don't see us having any interest if he's strictly a IF. According to LaRussa, if you can play the IF, you can play the OF. Even if that's true I'm mostly interested in CF. I saw he made a million dollars over there, so I'm not sure how he could have a 90% paycut if he makes a roster. Practice Squad. Right. Hayden Smith is a rugby guy that was on the Jets and spent a year on the practice squad. Though that guy wasn't nearly the star in rubgy that this Jarryd Hayne is. He's not coming over to hang out on the practice squad. He will probably do that for what remains of this season, and if he's not on a roster by next year he'd probably go back and take advantage of that lifetime agreement with his Kangaroo team. If that's his plan I don't think he'll even make a PS this season. I would imagine if he's serious about it he's willing to go at least all of next season on a PS. While its peanuts, the long term payoff is still there. Edit- after looking at the NRL schedule it looks like he could go all the way into the start of training camp 2016 and miss the same amount of time in Rugby that Jordan missed in basketball (if you want a rough comparison) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fear. Jay you poor bastard. Run hard. Run fast. Ola has played really well, honestly. If you like PFF grades, he's been graded very well. I don't know that it means a ton for a move to LT, but I think you can get by at least vs Carolina with that situation. I'll get worried if it goes on much longer than that. Sandwiches and subs are very similar foods, but are ultimately their own things. If you promise a group of people subs and then present them with a bunch of sandwiches they will rightly be perplexed and frustrated as to why you are playing cruel food games with them. On the flipside, if you promise people sandwiches and bring them subs, they will be pleasantly surprised (because subs are inherently superior). Either way, people's perceptions are very, very different with these types of foods despite their many similarities. Maybe the answer is looking at something like linguine vs. udon.
