  1. Can't miss TV. Not often I chose to shovel over watching football.
  2. Does that count as a tank W?
  3. I know Niko isn't the youngest guy, but he is still just under 27 and in his 4th year. Now no one should expect him to continue to be a 26 PER player, but if he is even 80% of that, that's a pretty damn good player to hold onto and not totally put of the question from a development perspective.
  4. That list is full of free agents next offseason and one of them is even realistically attainable for the Bulls too.... just saying.
  5. He is the captain now? Not the captain. The commander. Of the anti-tank. The Tank commanders are overtaken.
  6. Stolen from RealGM
  7. And he can veto any trade. I haven't actually watched any of this streak, but at some point don't you have to accept the plan accidentally became mid lotto pick + free agency + consolidation trade in the future?
  8. Gordon was the first sports jersey I bought with my own money. Not my shrewdest buy, but I did get a few years out of it. Mine was Rex Grossman soooooo....... Urlacher, during his rookie year
  9. Damn, I've been busy as hell the past 2-3 weeks working every day, but at least figured I wasn't missing anything worthwhile Bears action.
  10. I'm thinking more like a NBA superfriend contract, but with a few player opt-outs after years 2 and 4. 6/150. That gives him FA options after age 28, 30, and 32 seasons, depending on when he's tired of winning WS and wants to then go sign the absurd parachute contract at 10-12 years at bonkers money.
  11. I'm just now understanding why my Cleveland buddy texted saying the Browns are back. Time to go get Sonny Weaver back now.
  12. 2014-2017 Bears. Only useful for dick and ball jokes.
  13. where were we with him last year? what was he looking for? I'm so out of the loop with NFL contracts anymore I'm no sure if any solid sources had reported a number, but I'm pretty sure many in the media quoted that exact number as a good expectation.
  14. Yea. I do think there's an argument that the NL is at least attractive in the sense that you're guaranteed to hit every few days instead of a manager/GM deciding to never let you hit again after half a season. That's how I've always viewed it. If an AL team is willing to commit to him (scary) then he goes there. If not, its likely an NL team. What's that commitment worth, especially if it's a supposedly contending team? It's basically just words. Theres not a ton of room for a developmental DH.
  15. Yea. I do think there's an argument that the NL is at least attractive in the sense that you're guaranteed to hit every few days instead of a manager/GM deciding to never let you hit again after half a season.
  16. Maybe I'll make a bday trip for myself and see my sister out there too.
  17. BPAEQB, IQBIBPA, TD. Ridley would seemingly make a lot of sense. OT or Edge would work too.
  18. Yeesh The gould thing was all about saving money, right? They were tanking, knew they were bad and didn't see the need in paying top dollar for a kicker. That and I think there was a feeling he was entering "lockerroom" distraction territory, which seems incredibly silly that a K might upend your locker room, but he was basically one of the last of the old guard at that time, so I think both sides were basically ready to split.
  19. I think a reason for that is him learning how to take the snap under center and drop back and plant his feet before throwing. He’s used to shotgun 95% of the time and that’s a whole different rhythm to throwing. Once he gets more comfortable dropping back I think his accuracy goes up. You heard the announcers today point out several times which foot he was planting before throwing. That said I haven’t seen many perfectly placed throws (Though I might be remembering poorly) You’d hope to see more flashes of that. Beyond the mechanics of the dropback, I think he isn't processing D's fast enough to set his feet and make accurate throws.
  20. Didn't they spend like $1M to try and find his replacement?
  21. Nippon will not stop until every last Ham is destroyed.
