My cursory Google search tells me they're basically locked into the current core for 3 years, with only Seabrook still with 4 years. What type of length would Crawford realistically get, and is their only way out of these contracts by attaching valuable assets to them to move them for shorter deals?

Trestman, 2013 They seemed pretty legit 3-1 at the time, they just faded big time. Also, I just went through their game log, and holy hell I forgot how bad that Rush D was. 6 games with at least 198 Rush Yards allowed. Only 4 games with less that 100 yards rushing and 3 were in the first 5 weeks of the season.

Yea fantasy is a mess haha. Guys being on covid list and IR eligible is easy enough, but the uncertainty of when a game is being played 24 hours before first kickoffs on Sunday is going to make setting lineups screwy. I had to pick up Tonyan from Packers for when Kelce inevitably is given a bye a Monday afternoon Yep I am probably gonna start Fitzmagic who I picked up yesterday cuz Mahomes was my only QB. I don't think this is gonna be a solid year for only carrying 1 QB or 1 D or 1 TE.

The only other thing would be they are spooked with the positive tests popping up (NFL and in govt) and feel they need to carry 3 active for the rest of the season so that a "surprise" positive covid test doesn't leave them scrambling with onlt 2 active QBs.

Its hard to imagine them getting almost anything for Trubisky. And I'm not sure they even save any cap space with a trade (though would save some cash). So we'll see? It would have to be a team without any potential long term QB option and willing to give up like a 4th to see if different coaching can give him a boost. There’s really not any teams like this. Maybe Denver if they aren’t sold on Lock and/or he’s out for the year. Maybe Belichick wants to take on the ultimate challenge and try to revive Mitch just in case Newton can’t come back anytime soon. Btw most of these suggestions are half in jest. It doesn’t make sense for any team to waste resources on bringing in Mitch midseason Yea NE is the only team I thought of and it would be like a 2-3 week replacement except the off chance that Cam doesn't recover. Is Belicheck actually dumb enough to give up actual value for that? Like a 2023 conditional 7th maybe?

At the rate it's going, this seasons gonna end up a lot more of these short turnarounds I think.

Now they're postponing or moving the game. My fantasy world is upside down this week (Henry and Mahomes as basically my top 2 players) Yeah, I'm the commissioner of our money fantasy league, and I'm having to text everyone each time there is a change. Ugh. I did create an extra IR spot so that Covid players can be placed there if their teams play anyway. We also changed our entry fee to only $50 instead of $150 knowing this season would have issues. Seems like they need to quarantine these teams if there is an chance of having a full season. It only takes one idiot. Luckily there are bye weeks now. Not sure what they will do once a team gets covid and their bye week has already been used. Yea fantasy is a mess haha. Well, even so, there's going to be fans in plenty of stadiums around the country already this fall. I don't see why XFL couldn't partially fill some stadiums in warm weather places that would allow it in February. Maybe they feel they don't have the capital to absorb the risk of lawsuit from fans or players if the virus is spread at one of their events? The XFL can’t partially fill stadiums when there’s not a pandemic. Weren't they at like 20k/game before covid hit this year?

Not if they can pay poor college students desperate to play football (and audition for the NFL) pennies to do so. gimmick leagues have never had trouble acquiring labor, it's selling the product that has done them all in repeatedly. You need to sell tickets to do that. Well, even so, there's going to be fans in plenty of stadiums around the country already this fall.
