  1. Fields, for sure. I actually think Fields will be a good QB in the NFL But he'd probably also be the best CB of the bunch, soooo defense wins championships am I right #BearsTakes Also if yall liked my post, you can go like my tweet and follow me for more awesome content Not apologizing for my shameless plug.
  2. The Giangreco comeback tour has began. https://theathletic.com/2548019/2021/04/28/mark-giangreco-saw-it-all-during-his-time-as-chicagos-tv-smart-ass-dollars-and-sense?source=user-shared-article
  3. Adam Hoge's mock has the Bears taking 2 QBs, Mond (trading back to 25) and Feleipe Franks in the 6th Both future NVPs IMO
  4. that's a start. you can always slot one of them in as CB opp Johnson Fields, for sure.
  5. My final Bears mock: 20. Justin Fields, QB Ohio State 52. Kellen Mond, QB Texas A&M 83. Davis Mills, QB Stanford 164. Jamie Newman, QB Wake Forest 204. Sam Ehlinger, QB Texas 208. Brady White, QB Memphis 221. KJ Costello, QB Mississippi State 228. Peyton Ramsey, QB Northwestern
  6. The real loss was that Teddy apparently didn't want Trubiksy behind his shoulder and signed with Carolina instead. Could have just overpaid one bridge QB once with just money and not lost any pick.
  7. On the other hand if you needed an indication you made the wrong call... Anyways the article sounds highly speculative. I wouldn't put too much stock in it.
  8. 1 day short of 7 years!
  9. In former Bears news. Mongo is diagnosed with ALS. https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/bears/ct-prem-chicago-bears-steve-mcmichael-als-20210423-okfosu3f7ffzpcn6d4lja62cw4-story.html?outputType=amp&__twitter_impression=true
  10. Damn. I was just thinking that tomorrow is my birthday and I turn "Scottie Pippen years old". Same age. Can't imagine.
  11. Good to have speed, but I'd imagine he's still roster bubble material. With another deep draft I'd put a decent sized bet on Pace drafting a WR again.
  12. What if I told you there was a new King of the North https://www.instagram.com/p/CNoX5XDrwlH/?igshid=f104a7msil9g
  13. Yes Senator, please go after the billionaire sports owners to own the leftists.
  14. I have so many questions. I looked up the picture and it didn't even look like there was much blood. Like how... What... I'm so confused
  15. Hopefully organizations are using this as a talking point with their players. They can't force anyone to get vaccinated, but they can let them know that anyone who chooses not to get the vaccine is putting their team at risk. These guys are largely just complete morons. They already tried incentivizing them with the being vaccinated/85% of a team thing with loosened restrictions in the clubhouse/travel/around the stadium, not being an auto sit/quarantine if you are vaccinated and around someone with it with contact tracing, more freedom on the road/allowed to see family more, etc. I hope these guys start losing pay if they continue this nonsense with the vaccine readily available to them. Yea that's never gonna happen.
  16. I mean, George is right. by the looks of it, the players aren't in favor either, So if Geo is the only owner on their side (let's just stretch an assumption) then that can only bode well for the Bears, right? right? That Andy Dalton extension is gonna be so team friendly.
  17. Possible political reasons for that answer aside, the existence of the MLB Player Union actually probably makes that a practical response, they would fail to force it on a player.
  18. Sure, but most guys aren't. As a mid-round prospect he seems like a somewhat interesting candidate. You have faith that Pace isn't going to do something stupid and draft him in the first round. I do not have that same faith. Yes - I do tend to err on the side of "Pace is an aggressive bet taker who does otherwise very conventional GM things" than "lol Pace".
  19. Don’t want Mond? No, I don’t think he’s going to be a good NFL QB. Sure, but most guys aren't. As a mid-round prospect he seems like a somewhat interesting candidate.
  20. More like Marcus Dumb, amirite
  21. I don't get it He's very bad at football
  22. The amazing part of that story is that another team wanted to sign Coward.
