  1. I'm liking the Vikings draft...
  2. So the QB run happened between 64 and 67. Which means the bears would have had to go QB at 52 to get a even somewhat interesting one. Yea, I'm taking this draft 100 time out of 100.
  3. Pace traded up for the exact two players I would have traded up for going into the first two rounds. Hire me Pace!
  4. will he wear #1? Sounds like it. The site says they won't ship out until his number is confirmed, but they all show #1. I kind of want one, but also think their main uniform number looks dopey with just 1 as a single digit. So I kind of want to wait for them to put up one of the throwbacks on the site.
  5. Are they? If Pace didn't get his secret extension before its coming. Might as well give it to Nagy too.
  6. Believe baby. The only downside is they disappoint you, which... Hey were well practiced in that art. Sadly thats how I feel but its true. If he sucks, oh well throw him on the pile of failed QBs. Hard to build a franchise when you make 1 1st round pick in 4 years and that pick is a bust, but oh well. The upside is worth it For me, it's specifically about Fields. If it was Lance or Jones, I'd say, well, hope for the best and expect the worst! With Fields, I'm expecting the best. LFG.
  7. And Dalton's. And Foles. And this one stings, but even Tyler Bray's.
  8. I want to believe Believe baby. The only downside is they disappoint you, which... Hey were well practiced in that art.
  9. If you have a franchise QB I assume you never feel too bad after day 1 of the draft. Can any cheese heads confirm this or not? Entirely speculative on my part, obviously.
  10. Yea, i have zero interest in counterfactuals where the Bears could have just waited for their guy. There was a clear difference in Fields to any other QB remaining. This isn't a Trubisky replay where they were agressive with blinders. Yes of course Fields may still flame out. But that's a risk with every QB.
  11. Also, I never actually putyself in a position to be let down by Trubisky. That is not true with Fields. I'm so all in. Please don't let me down lol.
  12. Agreed. Can't really be more tested on the college level as far as level of competition and high stakes games he played in over the last 2 years. He obviously has things to work on, but I definitely don't see him as a guy that needs to sit the entire year. For the record, I don't think Mahomes needed to either. In fact, I think almost nobody NEEDS to sit. Not really sure it's been proven either way that a QB learns a ton from watching someone else play football. I tend to agree more or less. I don't think you can ruin a guy by rushing him. The question is if you can maximize him or not. For instance, I think Fields has the slowest release time of the top 5 guys. Can sitting and focusing on training for a year accelerate him improving that? Maybe? Should he be good enough to overcome that anyways, yes.
  13. I think Jenkins is the one guy I'd really like, even trade up a few slots if you could make it happen. Otherwise, a lot of these guys feel like they jumble, so yea trade down a recoup a 4th or 5th if you can, even if it's a 2022 pick IMO (should be a better eval year next)
  14. Oh yea, give me all the content baby https://www.pff.com/news/draft-the-chicago-bears-first-round-steal-qb-justin-fields-ohio-state
  15. Twitter cropping effs it up, but here you go.
  16. Did you come up with this caption / can I make a meme from it?
  17. Just trade Foles for a conditional pick that will never actually yield. I think they can do that.
  18. I'd settle for a free dump just to get out of whatever money they owe.
  19. I'd say it looks more like a 20 to 8 or 9 trade than a 20 to 11. But it's all about the player. So f it, IMO.
  20. YES YES YES YES YES YES.
  21. I went when it was in Chicago. Basically was a huge festival and I lived basically down the street from it both years.
  22. Seems unlikely. I mean, Rodgers has literally never in his life become so frustrated with an organization he spent half his life with that he chose to part ways on bad terms.
  23. Sounds like Rodgers future in Green Bay is in Jeopardy
  24. Fans just way overestimate the payoff of *tHe fUtuRe*. Whether it's picks or cap space. The NFL is just a race against the deterioration of your current players. Do stuff for now (within some reason obviously).
