Maybe a 12 yard curl I think. If Nagy is gonna sit Fields and be all like "don't worry, Kansas City" he could at least throw the ball down the field.

Any brilliance Nagy has, has a way of just plowing ahead into stupidity. I think thats just the issue. Just have him go mad writing plays and then have a computer program pick random ones with an expected point chart for decisions like going for it on 4th down or not. The computer program can randomly insert Fields at random times if this is the plan I guess.

Broke: The Bears chose Graham over Fuller! Woke: The Bears chose Vildor and some other cheap cast offs over Fuller @ 14M (or whatever his base salary would have been).

There. Is. No. Money. Well I'm mean there always is momey, becuase The Cap Isn't Real ™, but the timing of this move was not a limiting factor in whatever or whoever they wanted to bring in.

Pretty sure Fuller was due close to 20m if they kept him. And since I'm late to the party, I'm taking the wins. I wear my jersey proudly every Sunday in hopes of a Bears victory. Even when all hope is dire with a QB like Trubisky behind center. Well I guess I was wrong about being able to keep Fuller but it still bugs me that this wasn't done months ago. Why? What difference does it make now verse June?

He didn't create that much space. He made $4.5MM last year and the Bears just freed up another $4.66MM in space. Fuller signed for $9MM. I don't know what the 4.5M is in reference to, but the Graham move wasn't enough for Fuller, either way you slice it. As it is, the Gramah move gives them just a couple mil in breathing room below the cap (they were slightly over going into today).

But if Dalton gets killed, Fields is his backup. So. Just watch, if Donald kills Dalton, Nagy will run Foles out there and the excuse will be veteran blah blah, experience blah blah. Actually this is a low key interesting question if Foles will even dress most games since the emergency QB rule isn't in effect anymore. I don't think they've had a 3QB room since that rule went into effect.

Daniels has looked better at G. Mustipher was fairly competent at C in his run last year. Not a physical specimin at all, but has gotten good marks on the x's and o's of making line calls. It is their best combo for now. But I think they will need to make serious interior line investments soon, so hopefully both rookie Tackles stick and are good.

That's the score I predicted elsewhere. And the Bears TD is definitely a meaningless 4Q score. Amplify the start Fields bandwagon to level 10.

I found the Twitter discourse and I'm deep in it now. Anywayy "the cap isn't real" isn't literally true, but it's true. And people are terrible at falling into sunk cost fallacies. Even guys who actually know a lot of cap specifics.

Huh? Haven't seen that. They did some cap maneuvers with Jimmy Graham to extend most of his cap hit to 2022. That was needed just to get back under the cap apparently, as they didn't have enough "in season" buffer. But yea, to cut Foles AND Quinn, I don't think they actually could do it. But I've felt for a while they probably should cut Foles just for the roster spot, but they'd need to restructure someone (likely Quinn) to defer some cap to accommodate Foles dead cap acceleration. But maybe just hang on to him until the trade deadline... Never know.

WHAT IF the Bears go 17-0 and win the SB because it turns out Cairo Santos can kick 90 yard FGs at a 99% clip, but dies on March 1st, and Justin Fields comes out as a member of the Proud Boys. Betcha wish you had taken the 6 win team with a Justin Fields ROY award, huh. Oh he personally vaccinates 80% of the vaccine hesitant population too. DUMMY.
