to sign with the Bears?!?!?!? My money would be on the Vikings. Boy, would that be a CRUSHING blow to cheeseheads everywhere...that would be beautiful to witness! No thank you. I hate the Vikings more than I hate the Packers and having a competent QB would make that team unstoppable. I'd like the Bears to at least have a shot in the division.

How long will it be before Ryan Theriot (and/or Lou) decides it's not a great idea to try to steal bases? You have one of the best lineups in baseball (today notwithstanding). Why the HELL are you robbing them of baserunners and outs??

I doubt it. Reds beating up on the Cubs? Meh. If it were the other way around, it might get a little more attention, but either way, meh. You don't think they'll do the proverbial "....and Chad's first appearance for the Cubs ends with......a home run." piece? I doubt they'd give a relief pitcher's debut much attention. They might throw that in, but with all the runs scored this game, that one might not even make the highlights.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the one thing that still annoys me about Theriot no matter how well he does is that he's the one hitter in the lineup that there's just about 0% chance of a HR for. ...and he GIDPs... nice

Wow... so as I was about to turn off my car I heard that Lieber was pitching to Dunn and immediately thought that Dunn was about to HR. I turn off the car, walk inside, turn on TV... lo and behold, the score is 10-5. How the hell is it that I saw that coming and Lou doesn't?
