Doesnt matter if their shooting gets better when they cant play D at all. i'd imagine the score at the half would've been a lot closer if they weren't shooting 2% but yes, they need to play a lot better on defense...

btw the celtics are getting away with all kinds of shoving and crap defensively, but this is the nba, those are the champs at home, and all that is to be expected. let's just hope the shooting gets a lot better in the second half... it can't possibly continue to be that poor, can it?

OMGZ they're losing by 20 to the world champs, they must be terrible! it's an ugly game... when a team relies on shooting and can't make a shot, it starts to snowball into what we've seen in the first half. I'll take the over on 35 wins.

I haven't been up on the Cubs discussions that much for the past couple of weeks... is this actually more than the pipe dream it was when the story first came out that we were on his list?? -

I really like what Noc brings to the team when he isn't asked to be a major contributor... and he's also one of only two guys you can sort of count on to hit a 3 on the roster.... Not saying he should be untouchable but I'm not looking to get rid of him...

Indeed...I thought Soul was just referring to his scoring. I was thinking that, too, but wasn't sure, since there are a lot of Bulls fans that literally think all Tyrus can do is dunk when he gets a chance.

I think Rose + cap room will be attractive enough as it is... but, obviously, I'm hoping that turns into a solid core, too. Tyrus looked very good last night. He just needs to work on his touch around the basket in terms of non-dunk finishes.

I'll take Lebron :) Obviously, I'd take one of the top two players in the league on my team any day, but he's not exactly an ideal type of player to pair with Rose. He'd probably opt to play somewhere where he'd get to dominate the ball. Wade's skills are sort of redundant with Rose. I don't see Wade leaving, anyway, though. LeBron just might, and with the Nets future (as far as their move to Brooklyn and all that) now looking uncertain, a move to the Nets might not be as automatic as it once seemed. So who knows where he winds up? I'd be ecstatic if we got either of those guys but I feel like Amare or Bosh would be the ideal type of players to take this team to the next level.

Good call on Rose, UM. I was actually thinking about your prediction when I saw his line. Either way, a solid debut game from Rose, but he didn't look to score as much as I expected him to after the last few preseason games.
