I'm as optimistic as they come about this season (I have them winning 40-44ish, if that's any indication), but I don't see them starting much better than 5-12 or 6-11... I'd be extremely pleased with 7-10... the early schedule, coupled with a young team learning a new system and all that junk, looks very tough...

his jumper isn't that bad... last night aside. i think the fact that his form is good and that he's a pretty good free throw shooter indicate that there's potential in that shot... it's not like he has some ugly odd shot like chandler or noah. he just needs to gain confidence in it. when he's wide open for miles and can't nail a shot that he'd hit in practice (or from the free throw line, not the same thing, i know), it suggests to me that it's more of a confidence thing than anything... add in the "just a bad night" explanation, and you have last night... an extremely bad night... do i want him taking that many jumpers? no... but i don't think he's a terrible shooter from that range, either.

Uh, wut? It's pronounced the same way. Noah has been a force on defense this half. I really think he's going to have a breakout year this season. wat? Deng = Dang. What's the difference in pronunciation? And I really despise Nocioni. i don't get what you're asking unless you're making some kind of joke about regional accents....

Doesnt matter if their shooting gets better when they cant play D at all. i'd imagine the score at the half would've been a lot closer if they weren't shooting 2% but yes, they need to play a lot better on defense...

btw the celtics are getting away with all kinds of shoving and crap defensively, but this is the nba, those are the champs at home, and all that is to be expected. let's just hope the shooting gets a lot better in the second half... it can't possibly continue to be that poor, can it?

OMGZ they're losing by 20 to the world champs, they must be terrible! it's an ugly game... when a team relies on shooting and can't make a shot, it starts to snowball into what we've seen in the first half. I'll take the over on 35 wins.

I haven't been up on the Cubs discussions that much for the past couple of weeks... is this actually more than the pipe dream it was when the story first came out that we were on his list?? -

does beasley do anything but stand out on the perimeter and play bad defense?

I really like what Noc brings to the team when he isn't asked to be a major contributor... and he's also one of only two guys you can sort of count on to hit a 3 on the roster.... Not saying he should be untouchable but I'm not looking to get rid of him...

i think he's a pretty good ballhandler/dribbler and passer for someone of his size
