The play was only made difficult in the first place because of Theriot's poor throw on a completely routine play. I don't see how anyone could argue that it was Lee's error.

This isn't necessarily true either. Depends on the person. Some would be impaired enough to endanger people below .08. The fact that the law is set there doesn't mean that everybody fits into that mold. I'm pretty sure you can get into trouble for driving below the legal limit if you're deemed to be impaired.
So you're calling for zero tolerance, basically? One beer = shouldn't be legal to drive? Because, the laws, in practice, pretty much require/allow people to use their judgment to some extent.
It was a comment made sort of in passing, but Steve Stone took one of his usual subtle jabs at the Cubs today when being asked about Dewayne Wise's disappointing performance this year. More or less said, "Milton Bradley is doing the same thing (going hitless) but being paid $30M to do it." Gimme a break.
