He'll be 40 for most of next season and has had one good season since 2004... Would he be an improvement over the garbage that is Sage or Tavaris? Yea. Is he washed up? Yea.
Wait... is it actually my turn? I was a couple spots away when I looked yesterday but I started the thread because it was like 2pm and nobody had started one...

From the Football Outsiders Almanac... I'm kinda hoping Kruetz gets over his shotgun-phobia and we use it a bit more this year. Cutler seemed to use it a good amount in Denver, too. That and that rollout he loves to do.
i don't see the league having much of a problem with the packers this year, really. Heh, we'll see about that. I like being under the radar. It worked in 2007 and I'm hoping it works again this year. Heh, no kidding. I think everyone in Green Bay has a quiet confidence about this year. they are better than last years record and they are healthy. I haven't seen too many knowledgeable football fans count the Packers out this year. The only question is the adjustment to the 3-4 scheme. I think that's a pretty massive question. How often do teams completely change systems and have success right away? Especially when you switch to a system that needs a specific type of personnel and the team hasn't had a chance to make all the changes it needs to make to its roster...
Didn't Royal rip ish up while Marshall was hurt/suspended (can't remember which one.. if he was hurt from that odd accident with the McDonald's bag or if he just was suspended for beating up his girlfriend again) last year? I'm pretty sure that's how he made a name for himself at first. I know he at least had that one amazing game on national TV... I think it was MNF.
Yes, instead of answering the question he was asked, he should've said, "You know what, I can't answer that. Right now, I'm too busy finding ways to improve the Packers who went 6-10 last year to waste two minutes giving an opinion about a rival."
He was generally very complimentary of the team and simply said what many are thinking about the Bears receiving corps. I tend to believe those concerns about the WRs will be answered because I tend to think it has a lot more to do with the QB, but that doesn't mean there was anything wrong with what Driver said.
henry burris threw the worst pass in the history of the league in 2002 against the vikings i think it was. i remember him having a terrible game against tampa
those were better than halfway decent. those were very good. there were a few other halfway decent ones from what i remembered. he wasn't quite at a ryan leaf or henry burris level of epic fail
That's pretty much my list, + the Seahawks game in 06 in October. That game was sort of a national coming out party against the reigning NFC champs. I had a lot of fun watching that one. Yes, I loved that game. Bears looked good, but against some crappy teams. Going on the road to the west coast and beating Seattle pretty good was when I knew the team had a real shot to do something special that year. That was actually a home game... but yea. It was awesome.

Word is the Bulls are tryign to squeeze Bayless out of them if we are giving up Tyrus. If they can't snag Bayless, they want to give up Tim instead of Tyrus.
If it makes you feel any better your team is made up of crap and Pujols, yet once again you are playing way over your heads. What would make me feel better would be if Dunkiel was traded to the Cubs for Miles and a bag of balls. Deal.
Brian Hanley saying there's something to the talks. What that means, I don't know, because even if you go by Bucher's report, there is something to them, except that it's not happening. We'll know soon enough.
