  3. I am known for having extremely sharp senses. I've actually wondered if I might be a "supertaster" or whatever. If you think I'm snobby when it comes to booze, don't even get me started on food. maybe you're spiderman holy horsefeathers, that post is amazing...how did i miss that the first time around
  4. they followed it up giving him the benefit of the doubt and said he just hit it too hard and got beat. i have it in another tab. i saw it live but didn't see the replay showing him run out of the box.
  5. starlin just hit one off the wall, came out of the box MAYBE a little slow thinking it was gone (i missed the replay, just going off what the announcer said when they showed it), and got thrown out at 2nd (very good throw)
  6. It says previous year... so it's accurate, it's just really weird and dumb
  7. But the alcohol is really the only thing doing the intoxicating (or BY FAR the primary thing...I concede that there may be some other ingredients interacting, but I'd say any effect there would be marginal at best), so suggesting that this alcohol intoxicates differently than that alcohol isn't really the same. "Hey, this expensive top shelf liquor makes me a smoother and more sophisticated type of drunk than that other cheap one," is one of the craziest/silliest things I've read in a while.
  8. i heard when they played it and i thought it was a bit/gag though i suppose it's no more cheesy than the intro songs on 720 and 780.
  9. http://ll-media.tmz.com/2016/04/07/0407-bomani-jones-main-espn-7.jpg this is kind of awesome apparently espn, unsurprisingly, freaked about it.
  10. it'd be hilarious if matt szczur finally became a thing like shark did and then what the horsefeathers would we do?
  11. This is how I tend to see it, though it's possible I'm completely operating on bias as far as the severity of hangover stuff. Usually if I hydrate well, I avoid bad hangovers. If I don't, I get bad hangovers. How much of a role the quality of it plays I can't really say much on beyond my anecdotal belief that it might be better with good liquor.
  12. I get a worse hangover on crafts. Same.
  13. holy crap, i always figured him as a mouth breather but that surpassed my expectations I didn't like the "its just one win and we were partying like it was a playoff series win" He was great at the Convention though. Kind of a jerk to Lester, I mean really slamming him, but you got the vibe that they have the kind of relationship that could support it. I'm trying really hard to like him. A solid performance tonight would go a long way. They do kinda party like it's a playoff win after every win (minus the champagne) and it's pretty unusual. He said it was sick right after that.
  14. took the words out of my mouth oh and it gives him a dirty buzz, but NOPE not drunk This is not rocket science. Your body processes alcohol at a rate of about 1 drink per hour on average. When you are drinking beer that is only 4-5% alcohol, this means that you aren't going to get very drunk unless you are slamming beers really fast. You can drink 8 beers over an 8 hour period and just maintain that same low-level buzz. And, I mean, is it really that hard to believe that a person can tell the difference between top shelf alcohol and cheap domestic beer? I'm not making any extraordinary claims here. I never said I don't get drunk off of top shelf liquor. What I'm saying is that when you drink higher quality alcohol, the euphoria to impairment ratio is much more favorable. By euphoria, I pretty much mean "being drunk". When you drink higher quality alcohol, you get just as drunk, except you are not as impaired. You don't slur your words as much, and you aren't as confused. Sorry if you guys think I'm being uppity. You don't slur your words as much and aren't as confused when you're drunk off top shelf? And, yes, when I say pounding cheap shitty beer at baseball games, I mean more than 1 per hour.
