    I don't see any reports that say he divorced her because of the cancer. Maybe she was just a bitch. However, saying 'everything in my life sucks right now.' because his wife has cancer is a little douchey. Nobody accused him of leaving her because of the cancer, the criticism is any person divorcing their spouse while they are fighting cancer. And it's incredibly stupid to chalk it up to either because it was cancer or she was a B. i thought people were but in a tongue in cheek manner...i figured it was like a meme/running joke. maybe i misread the way it was said.

    I'm trying to remain optimistic in the fact that they reported an ankle sprain and didn't say anything about the knee and just hoping that means the initial tests were clean on the knee, but I am definitely fearing not hearing Thuggish Ruggish Bone this year at Wrigley.

    part of me wonders why they wouldn't diagnose/announce even a knee sprain without an MRI if they thought his knee was messed up (since they did announce an ankle sprain), but I'm mostly thinking we're not even a little out of the woods on the knee thing. at first i was optimistic since they didn't even mention the knee. hopefully the initial tests are good on the knee and were bad on the ankle and that's what they announced what they announced, and then the MRI would be just to rule out/confirm diagnosis. otherwise it's almost bad news that xrays were negative, since that means it's something worse than a break would've been.

    I don't know that there's anything linking the divorce to the cancer, it was just a really easy reason to hate him I don't think anyone ever said because of, just while she had cancer. well, the meme was "because of"
