Probably shouldn’t put any stock in preseason like you said but the 1st and 2nd teams getting noticeably destroyed in TOP in all 3 games is interesting Yeah I think the O-Line and defense are legit question marks based on how they played against top guys. They both took major steps back last year and the only legit change that was made was losing Kyle Fuller and Charles Leno and replacing Pagano with an internal candidate. It sucks because even if Fields is good, the Bears probably wasted their last window and it's going to take time to get back to where they were, and do so without a first round pick next year. if fields is good, the window is always especially so during the rookie contract. but either way, always.

i've been seeing a lot of people whose opinions on OL play i would respect say pretty positive things about borom in camp. it would be cool if he could win the job now and turn out to be a solid LT...then just throw jenkins into the shallow end to start at RT if/when he's ready. then switch them next year if you want to get crazy. but yeah i realize it's crazy to expect anything out of a 5th round rookie LT.

the writer for that article calls it "Soldier Fields". ughh... I wonder how he pronounces "IllinoiS" Probably just a mistake from typing Justin "Fields" so much. Yeah, some people have been making that pun (that it should/will be called "Soldier Fields" but the way he used it there looks like it just might've been a typo/mistake from the repetition.

He was benched in 07. Orton won the starting job in 08 and Rex didn't come in until Orton got hurt. Man, I thought he was gonna be horsefeathering good and was so deflated by his injuries in 04 and 05. Was so friggin excited when he came in at halftime on SNF against the Falcons when they benched neckbeard in 05 and the crowd went insane when he made his first long completion to Moose after a half of complete ineptitude by Orton. Didn't even care that his TD on that drive came after a fumbled interception (or however that play went exactly) lol. Then he had the start he had in 06 and I was sure I was right. Oh, well. lol

My buddy is at this game and said p will is dominating. Hmmm was just following the box score and saw he was 6-18 shooting. Not that shooting is the only gauge for how a player is performing, its just funny to see that and then read he's dominating. his second half wasn't great
