  1. With Lackey technically on the DL, the active roster is at 24. yeah but isn't he slated to pitch one of the upcoming games
  2. jose's twitter and instagram https://www.instagram.com/jose_quintana24/ hasn't updated his twitter yet and hasn't tweeted in a while but has updated his insta https://www.instagram.com/p/BWgkd2Xh6n5/?taken-by=jose_quintana24
  3. esp because the cubs are so screwed for the future now, esp with position players
  4. Anybody unhappy with this trade, I'll bet you that in 6 years, the cubs will have gotten more wins out of this trade than the white sox. That's like 3 extra years after Jose is probably gone.
  5. Lots and lots of wrong things here. Did you do that on purpose?
  6. Pretty sure they don't have that issue anymore
  7. These aren't projections or based on them. They're based on an analysis of how the teams have actually performed this year. And the Brewers have performed better in the most important areas. No horsefeathers. The whole point of those is to look past the W-L record and see if there is anything about the records that is smoke and mirrors/unsustainable (both in terms of over and underperformance) or if it's a legit representation of what has happened. So yes, the Brewers have performed better in the "most important areas." Great job stating the obvious.
  8. Yup. Just like TT was showing me the Steamers projections a few weeks ago. I can accept being laughed at. It will be even better once I'm actually, you know, wrong. These aren't projections or based on them. They're based on an analysis of how the teams have actually performed this year.
  9. it's kinda where i'm at if they're all that uncertain about what he is, they'd be kinda crazy to take a 70M gamble on a guy with bad peripherals and a 5 ERA

  11. that's an oddly timed comment considering he hit a ball 107 mph in his last at bat and just hit another one very solidly after a good AB he also has been kinda back to his average offensive self since june i havent been watching the game, I just saw his stat line following on Gameday and realized how sad it looked. I do see .805 OPS in June and .708 in July. I was hoping for a leap this year though. nevermind then. the reason i thought it was weird was bc i assumed you were watching bc CSN day game.
  12. over the past month, he's at .280/.325/.507 for a .343 wOBA and a 110 wRC+
  13. that's an oddly timed comment considering he hit a ball 107 mph in his last at bat and just hit another one very solidly after a good AB he also has been kinda back to his average offensive self since june
  14. it could not have been fun to be cervelli there
  15. not a dong, but still pulled. not a real hitter. doesn't count. take it back.
  16. i can't even get a horsefeathering sympathy like from mojo on this?
  17. he's back to being 2015 KB needs to go back to pull happy 2016 KB
  18. somewhere out there, someone is saying, "how can you take him out?! he's cruising!"
  19. oh, yeah. didn't know he had any association with the athletic. i posted those yesterday.
  20. i had to take a piss break and missed the dong :( damn you for your big mouth montero!
