  1. just had to have him not be in scoring position
  2. i mean, obviously, some of those balls are gonna get caught for outs but horsefeathering jaso making it really is just awesome
  3. Sharma? https://theathletic.com/73413/2017/07/06/cubs-trade-strategy-chris-archers-a-no-justin-verlander-a-maybe/ I thought your chicken sharma saved the season? i didn't have it yesterday :(
  4. Sharma? https://theathletic.com/73413/2017/07/06/cubs-trade-strategy-chris-archers-a-no-justin-verlander-a-maybe/
  5. blah blah cruddy teams, yes, but that's another horsefeathering weird thing that you can watch thousands of baseball games and never see
  6. is it longer through 3 than yesterday? (i don't actually expect you to be able to answer that)
  7. breakthrough with an xbh please caratini
  8. rizzo swung at ball 4 but this ump has loved calling low and outside strikes
  9. Sure, "weird" is certainly A way you could describe it. bunch of weird ass bounces, two 2nd and 3rd no out situations resulting in no runs, and like 8 million runners stranded between both teams in 2 innings oh and the OF collision (which, again, did not lead to any runs)
  10. only two innings in but this is one of the weirdest games all year already
  11. and then you look at the roster and you're like....uh, nope. But...their record. Good and bad baseball teams will be capable of hovering around .500 for 80 games because baseball is weird. I'm not saying there aren't any causes for legitimate concern, but to me, basically being .500 with lots of things going pretty damn badly (I won't say worst case, because that would be like everybody being out for the season or something) is almost a testament to the talent on this team.
  12. second isn't really happ's primary position and he's been more than fine in CF so
  13. the pirates just pulled our first inning except while being gifted a runner
  14. It's really okay to admit that this team is kind of bad. and then you look at the roster and you're like....uh, nope.
  15. i mean rizzo had a great AB that wound up resulting in a pop up, happ hit a line drive up the middle right at the SS, and schwarber scalded a ball just foul down the line
  16. jesus christ, now that foul ball...could this be any more annoying?
  17. that is horsefeathering annoying. same thing happened yesterday pretty much.
