you said this sort of thing when they signed jackson too and i still don't understand it at all what difference does it make if he can pitch every 5th day if he's going to do an awful job at it? anybody they have in AAA can pitch badly for them at any given time Because jonny anybody in AAA is going to get shelled in 2 innings and destroy the bullpen while Lackey will pitch 6 innings and give up 4 runs, which gives the team a chance to win and doesn't destroy the bullpen. it is very difficult to be worse than lackey has been this year

i did know who gordon hayward was but have never heard of or seen this shot That's really odd. It's basically the product of thinking college sports are terrible and boring and watching as little of them (except when I bet on them) as possible for someone who watches lots of sports. I don't watch minor league baseball, why do it with basketball and football?

Geez, he's not exactly a household name for casual fans but he's been on the radar since the first NCAA title game run at Butler and took the most famous missed halfcourt shot in basketball history i did know who gordon hayward was but have never heard of or seen this shot

at the risk of lighting the OMC signal, how the hell was ted williams so horsefeathering good seriously, how? dude plays 19 years (with a 3 year gap in there for the war) and didn't have a single season that wasn't well above average offensively his worst wRC+ was 111. besides that one, his lowest was 156 as a rookie. even at 42, he put up .316/.451/.645 in 113 games. a 184 wRC+. how the hell are you that horsefeathering good at hitting baseballs?

if that was his concern, he wouldn't be in boston either Boston needs one more top player to get there, and will have both draft chances (Brown/Tatum/Brooklyn pick/Lakers or Kings pick) and trade possibilities to get there. Those are pretty good odds. Are they trading those for LeBron?
