    it's been kind of an afterthought but the cubs have never been to the playoffs 3 straight seasons (unless you count when it was just the world series to be "playoffs," in which case, i think you go back to those mid aughts teams)

    Stanton's birthday is in November, and Rizzo has never homered on his birthday. The one streak in that vein that jumps to mind is Harper homering on Opening Day 3 straight years. sorry, it was trout, not stanton...d'oh. i could've sworn rizzo had some sort of bday thing going on.
