  1. Ah, you're right. Damn it. And it was actually 04. Still awful lol. And, yeah, Macias leading off in 03 is obv just as bad.
  2. I'm not gonna bother looking it up, but I am pretty sure Dusty hit Rey Ordonez leadoff on at least one occasion, if not more, in 03. Absolute insanity.
  3. https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-2005-06-03-0506030112-story.html Apparently Lee said it? I would've bet my life on it having been Dusty lol.
  4. Oh, yeah. I guess that WAS the DLee year.
  5. I'm still pissed about the Sosa trade. That's really all I remember about that year. Was that the "Neifi saved us" year? I wanna say that was 2006.
  6. I can't even imagine having a concept of what 2005 vibes means, so I gotta ask. What the hell are 2005 vibes? (and how could there even be a good way, for that matter lol) Is it the random filler vets like Hosmer and Mancini :: Burnitz and Jerry Hairston or something?
  7. At a complete loss for words imagining that you would become a Cubs fan in a family full of Cardinal fans. Can't see that at all. Sounds nothing like you.
  8. Ha, but as someone who has been here this whole time, it's more like that seeing you in here lol
  9. Not a fan of Seiya?
  10. I went with 86-90. I think the pitching and defense (especially the dudes up the middle) are going to get them off to a good start. The level of defense that can be really impactful. One of the biggets strengths of the 2016 team was the insanely good defense. This lineup looks to me like it's on that level (IN TERMS OF DEFENSE). Some surprise contributions from one of the rookies (Davis/Mervis/??). I expect a pretty big year out of Suzuki, which is probably the biggest thing for me. I'm encouraged about some aspects of Bellinger's spring, especially as it has gone on. Hopefully some deadline additions of worth. Will be tough to contend for a wild card with the teams in the east and west, so hopefully the Cardinals can run into some bad luck.
  11. I'm down like 65k posts myself lol WHERE ARE THEY WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THEM, BROCK!?
  12. jk, but seriously, unrelated, is there an ignore function on this board yet?
  13. I mean, he says that, but he straight up told the media he had offers in hand for 3 #1s, so he basically did that. He just maybe isn't telling some other team, "Hey, the Panthers are offering 2 1's, 2 2's, and DJ Moore/Brian Burns/Derrick Brown. Can you top that?"
  14. Thanks for the reminder! Almost forgot about this.
  15. Subs aren't sandwiches...I had almost forgotten that Mojo classic. That was art.
  16. Speaking of Seiya getting back...
  17. I'll start. Jameson Taillon is our 2nd best starter by fWAR (that's not the bold part). Wesneski is first. Wesneski gets over 9 K/9 Seiya hits 35 dongs Seiya puts up 4+ fWAR Bellinger manages some sort of bounce-back at the plate, plays excellent defense, and puts up a 3 fWAR season
  18. Now we can go back to our pedantic argument about BPA
  19. I want my huge avatar (and my ~65k more posts) back. Yes, this is what's most important.
  20. I completely believe that Kyle does not watch much baseball. Or football.
  21. What about the fact that you have a Mark Bellhorn quote as your signature?
