lol did you read the post I was replying to? if you think it has nothing to do with dynamic pricing, i'm not gonna argue with you. just keep doing you. plenty of bad teams sold out opening day when you could get the cheapest tickets for $40 face value or whatever the hell. bottom line is you're going to have less games sell out basically by definition with dynamic pricing.

My guess is that's largely the effect of dynamic pricing. When face value was just face value, they sold out right away. Seems less likely to happen when face value is whatever an algorithm based on timing and demand determines the price. At least, that's how I think it happens now. I haven't bought tickets in a while thanks to having a pretty sweet family hookup.

I'm not gonna bother looking it up, but I am pretty sure Dusty hit Rey Ordonez leadoff on at least one occasion, if not more, in 03. Absolute insanity.

I can't even imagine having a concept of what 2005 vibes means, so I gotta ask. What the hell are 2005 vibes? (and how could there even be a good way, for that matter lol) Is it the random filler vets like Hosmer and Mancini :: Burnitz and Jerry Hairston or something?

I went with 86-90. I think the pitching and defense (especially the dudes up the middle) are going to get them off to a good start. The level of defense that can be really impactful. One of the biggets strengths of the 2016 team was the insanely good defense. This lineup looks to me like it's on that level (IN TERMS OF DEFENSE). Some surprise contributions from one of the rookies (Davis/Mervis/??). I expect a pretty big year out of Suzuki, which is probably the biggest thing for me. I'm encouraged about some aspects of Bellinger's spring, especially as it has gone on. Hopefully some deadline additions of worth. Will be tough to contend for a wild card with the teams in the east and west, so hopefully the Cardinals can run into some bad luck.
